Great stop for amazing food fast! My first visit here with my husband. He has been telling me that this is the best place to get sesame chicken. And I have to completely agree! He let me try his and it was delicious and had the perfect crisp and taste. Loved the flavor! I chose the bourbon chicken dinner combo with an egg roll and fried rice! Was also delicious! Really good portion but I i definitely needed more rice so I know next time to get extra. Atmosphere was clean and cozy. Definitely coming back again soon!

I’ve eaten here many times. Tonight will definitely be the last. The lo mein noodles were .. different. Not like any we’ve had before and they were bland. The beef & broccoli had no flavor. Brown water sauce. The sweet & sour chicken was severely over cooked. The worst food I’ve ever experienced coming out of an Asian restaurant. The entire family was disappointed. Save your time and just go to China Garden down the street

This is by far the worst quality Chinese food I’ve EVER had. I got the shrimp chow mein was given only white rice, cabbage, and 2 SHRIMP (4 half’s of a small size shrimp) . I’ve never received only CABBAGE anywhere else. This was inedible please avoid at all costs for the sake of your pockets

I Have seem People say the food has gone downhill since new owners have taken over, I was just there today 2-28-2026 and the Genral TSO chicken is still the BESt in all Indiana. soft and delicious YUM !!! Great restaurant, The chicken is so soft and yummy in the General Tso meal. This place is the best I have ever tasted. So stop by and take the General Tso challenge

Fresh hot food, good prices. The crab rangoons are delicious. You can substitute in lo mein instead of rice for +$2. I like that the lunch specials lasts from 11a-3p.

My wife and I have eaten at First Wok for over 28 years. Until recently, it was the best Chinese food in Terre Haute. They appear to have recently changed hands. I picked up a General Tso’s lunch special, extra spicy, and with pork fried rice a little over a week ago. The rice had no pork in it at all, and had a very unpleasant taste. The General Tso’s chicken tasted OK, but it had a slightly odd taste as well. It also wasn’t extra spicy as I ordered. The General Tso’s use to come with the special dipping sauce, but I guess not anymore. The lunch specials have also went up in price, about $2.00 for what I ordered. I realize with new ownership, comes new changes, but in my opinion, none of them are good. I doubt seriously we ever eat there again!
