First Watch is an award-winning breakfast, brunch and lunch spot, serving a chef-driven menu of elevated classics and seasonal specialties, always made to order using the freshest ingredients. We greet the sunrise by slicing and juicing fresh fruits and vegetables, whipping French toast batter from scratch and brewing pots of our single-origin Project Sunrise coffee. Freshness is never comprised, which is why we welcome each season into our menu with ingredients and flavors inspired by the position of the sun. All year long, you can enjoy craveable favorites like Avocado Toast for breakfast, Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict for brunch and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes for lunch. Whether you start at the crack of dawn or not, we’ll leave that up to you!

Power breakfast bowl was fantastic. Morning mediation juice was the right blend to wake you up and feel ready to go. Accommodated food allergies very well. Super nice staff. Outdoor area for dogs too.

This was my first visit to First Watch, and the overall dining experience was excellent. The portion was generous—the potatoes and onions were flavorful and well-seasoned, topped with perfectly cooked eggs. The toasted bread was crispy outside, soft inside, and delicious. I also loved the “Red Medicine” drink—its tangy, refreshing blend of pomegranate and tea was surprisingly good. The restaurant was clean, cozy, and the staff were friendly and efficient. If you’re looking for a great brunch spot, First Watch is definitely worth trying!

First Watch at the Boulders is one of my favorite go-to places. The food is fine, and the patio view of the boulders is divine. Highly recommend for an inexpensive breakfast or lunch in Scottsdale. They have a great lunch special (1/2 Sammy and 1/2 salad for under $13) that can’t be beat!

The food here is decent, but the coffee is terrible. Even adding cream and sugar doesn’t make it any better. This has been a recurring issue, and I gave up on their coffee a while back. However, I occasionally try it just in case there’s been some improvement. The servers are genuinely trying to please, but their responses when asked if the coffee is fresh are insincere. They simply say, “Yeah, sure!”
In conclusion, if you’re looking for good food, this place is worth it. But if you’re a coffee lover, you’ll want to bring your own. It’s a shame, but it’s the reality of the situation.

We’ve been coming here for a long time. And we continue to enjoy their food. While it’s somewhat expensive, the quality makes it worth it.
We went with friends this time. We had three different dishes. Two people ordered the classic eggs Benedict, one ordered blueberry pancakes and one ordered a Spring Special, the Hacienda hash. Everyone enjoyed their selection and the person who ordered the hash said he wished they’d add it to the regular menu.

Really great food, service was slow but we had a party of eight. Everyone liked the million dollar bacon it was maple flavored, sweet and salty. I highly recommend the lemon ricotta pancakes, they are served with lemon curd and strawberries. These pancakes were so light (for a pancake) fluffy and delightful. Waffles and french toast were both enjoyed without complaint. If your looking for something more savory the skillet with eggs peppers onions and veggies was quite good. There were quite a few cute touches on the walls and throughput. We all liked the silverware wraps that said I love you more than bacon. We tasted the juice, ginger refresher I think it was called wake up. (My hubby loved it) Waters and coffees were filled up as needed. Other than the initial slowness for ordering and delivering food the servers were very friendly and attentive. (We had a group of 8 and we were in no hurry so it was not a big deal) I’m sure we will be back, we all liked the food so much!!

Fabulous breakfast diner with great fresh food and excellent service. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. The menu has a nice selection and options for any type of appetite. Pricing is fair to market value. Restrooms were tidy and clean. Parking was suffice. ♿️ accessible. Kids menu offered. I especially enjoyed the coffee and purchased some bags to go. First Watch coffee beans are harvested and brewed by women farmers!
