I love First Watch. They have amazing coffee. They have healthy options if you’re trying to mindfully break your fast. But they also have more hearty foods! I love their juices and their pancakes. My favorite dish is the chicken pesto quinoa bowl I like to add over medium eggs and jalapeños. But sometimes I like to switch it up with some of their limited time options. But today I got a traditional breakfast.
Lydia took care of me today and she did a great job. I had ran out of Cholula and I was t going to ask for any extra cause it wasn’t a big deal but somehow she read my mind and brought a fresh bottle! She had a great smile and really took care of me thanks Lydia!!!

We wanted to avoid the abysmal hotel breakfast buffet. We had our pick of a local IHOP and First Watch. We used to live near one in Austin and often took guests there. The food as we remembered it was elevated.
This time, it wasn’t. The traditional breakfast I ordered was so underwhelming. The requested over medium eggs were over easy at best and swimming in too much butter. The bacon was thin and not what I remember of their applewood smoked variety.
As for the service, our server acted bored. She forgot my juice order and really didn’t act as though she cared.
The music was too loud, too.
While IHOP may be considered pedestrian in terms of food, we think we would have been better off going there.

This place was delicious the strawberry tres leches French toast is great! It was fast to get a table and the server was very friendly place is very clean overall this place was great nothing negative to say!

Meh…i eat out a lot. Eggs were dry. Bacon couldn’t be handled because under cooked, used fork & knife. Syrup was warm:) waitress Liandra was sweet. Room I was in was very plain. Busy but got seated right away. They forgot my utensils so I had food in front of me & had to hunt em down. Probably won’t come back because of eggs. I couldn’t eat them, though I was pretty hungry.

May be a duplicate post but I don’t see mine and it’s worth repeating. Years of never being disappointed! Array of options including many healthy ones. the portions are generous and always a second meal for me.
Only thing I’m sad about is not having one between Cibolo and New braunfels! We’d be there 2-3x a week.

Everyone was so kind from the moment we walked in. The food was actually even better than I anticipated. Our server Rachel was very friendly, and very understanding of what we liked. My toddler made the cutest “woah” expression, and was so happy when Rachel brought her something we learned the last week she absolutely loves to eat. I think it made our toddlers day! The portions were a good size. Nothing was under or over cooked. I’m a decaf coffee drinker and even so sometimes I can’t drink coffee if it’s too acidic. Theirs was smooth and not too strong. We were very pleased with our visit!

It is always a pleasure coming to First Watch for breakfast. I usually order the same thing when i come, but the current seasonal menu was calling my name. I went with the steak, eggs and hash. I was not disappointed.

We eat here 1-2 times a month, food is great, but this has got to be taken care of. Water bottles need a good hand scrubbing, They looks worse and worse everything we come. Maybe also Invest in a water softener.

This is a very fun and cosy place to eat breakfast, lunch, and brunch. The coziness and experience was elevated by the little rustic touches, such as the chalkboard signs, syrup container (which is served warm before your meal), water container, fresh juice, and menus. If you want to eat outside, there was plenty of shade, but just make sure to pick a table that isn’t rocky. The food was really delicious, with the only complaint being that it was a little cold when it came. They even had an option to pay with your phone, with options of splitting the check, paying with your credit card, Apple Pay, and Google pay. Overall, fantastic experience!

I had the pleasure of seeing Rachel in action as a host at First Watch on Sonterra, and I was beyond impressed. Her attention to customers was truly unmatched, and in my 15 years of food service experience, I know how rare it is to find someone with such a positive attitude that keeps guests happy! Especially when the restaurant is packed. I’m currently a DoorDasher and got to observe how Rachel’s amazing customer service set the tone for the entire place.
