Although the food was slightly cold I would still recommend this place for a nice breakfast, brunch, or lunch!!
I was really excited for the food and everything tasted great for the most part.
I ordered the traditional breakfast and the potatoes were not great. Despite having a sear on the outside they were raw and hard, and were completely bland. They brought me out a new batch and it was the same thing.
I asked someone how the potatoes are prepped and was informed that they are seasoned with farm house seasoning, and then tossed on the griddle for cooking.
Farm house, this is constructive criticism for you. If you want good potatoes, you should wash them after peeling and dicing. Boil them for about 4 to 5 min and then fry them. Fry them at a low temperature of 325 for about 5 min then increase temp to 375 and fry for another minute and 30 seconds.
If you dont want to fry, and want to stick to griddle method at least put a little oil on while they sear.
Potatoes are a very important part of breakfast.
The service was awful. Maybe it was because we were a big top and tucked away in the back left corner for big tops or maybe also the waitress. Not very attentive and only had excuses as to why we didn’t get our food or water refill.
Always accommodating to my requests.
Trifecta substitute with the Floridian French Toast and fresh cracked scrambled eggs. Just freaking awesome
Dorian was a great host/server. Great balance of checking in on me without overbearing hovering over table.
Thank you, see y’all when I’m back in town.
BTW, please open a location in Laredo. You have at least 1 customer waiting.
***Another visit on 1/17/26
