(Disclaimer: This is my first visit here, it is usually busy and has pretty good reviews. But, this review is about my experience on thsi day.)
My typical iHop had a 1 hour wait, so we decided to try First Watch on Main St. Frisco.
While we were expecting a wait, since it was 8:15am on a Saturday morning and what we just saw at iHop, to our surprise we strolled right in, and the parking was pretty wide open.
Oddly the person holding the door, looked the other way as we were coming in which we took as a strange “welcome”.
We had to wait for 3 minuy=tes to assign us a table, yet it was very empty in the restaurant.
When we sat, it took 7 minutes for a server to come over and bring us a menu.
We tried the blueberry lemon cornbread, and we were amazed at the very small amount of blueberries- 4? See pics).
I explained to the server that I will order my chocolate milk when the meal comes, so it can stay cold. Once the food came, there was no server to be found until the bill came- which was directly in the middle of us eating.
The “Morning Meditation” drink (orange, lemon, turmeric, organic ginger, agave nectar, beet) was a pretty presention, but VERY tough to take.
For the most part it was a let down on this day, my experience and was hoping for better.
Pricing: $$$$ (as compared to other places)
You will see pics to coroborate my experience, also with the complete menu for your review.

The food is tasty and has wonderful presentation! The waitor was wonderful! However, there’s fairly limited options for sides or more traditional things simply don’t exist. I wish the menu had more variety. For example, I like the skillet hash options probably the most, but I couldn’t care less about toast. It would be nice if you could get a standard small 2 pancake stack or even 1 pancake instead of the toast. Even more potatoes would be nice. When you look at the menu and it’s $10 for a side of pancakes, and you’re a frugal person. Pancakes just aren’t happening, and that’s disappointing for someone wanting a simple side of pancakes for their entree. It would also be nice if there was more than 2 options for the skillet hash, or maybe even a build your own with a list of ingredients you can choose maybe idk 6 ingredients to build your own hash.

This was my first time dining at this location. Considering it is a new establishment in Frisco, my expectations were much higher; unfortunately, the experience fell short, and I will not be returning.

Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated promptly. The service from our waitress was average. My sister and I ordered drinks—I ordered the Honey Caramel Crunch cold brew, and my sister ordered a regular coffee. When the drinks were brought out, there was hair in mine. I did not make a scene and simply asked for a replacement.

We then placed our food order, but my meal was incorrect. Instead of remaking the order, the waitress offered to warm up the mushrooms separately and bring them out to pair with my veggie omelet. This did not feel like a proper accommodation, so I declined and chose to proceed without them.

Unfortunately, the food quality was disappointing. I also ordered the Morning Sunrise beverage, which was not mixed properly—I could clearly see and taste unmixed turmeric powder. The syrup had an unpleasant taste, and the salad was soggy and overly wet.

When we finished eating, the bill was brought to the table. I asked if the drink or another item could be comped, given that my original drink contained hair and my food order was incorrect. While I did receive a replacement drink, I felt a comp should have been automatic considering the multiple issues throughout the meal. Additionally, the waitress stated she needed to check with the manager to see if removing the drink from the bill was acceptable, which was surprising. Typically, in situations like this, a manager would visit the table to address the concerns directly, but that did not happen.

Overall, the food quality was poor, the service was mediocre, and the experience did not meet expectations. This was not an enjoyable dining experience, and I will not be returning.

Stormi took amazing care of us! The biscuits and gravy was very satisfying. The spiked watermelon wakeup was also a tasty treat! We will definitely be back to this location soon.

First time customer, food came fast but was not good. I got the trifecta with a waffle, chicken sausage, and eggs. The eggs did not taste or look like real eggs and the sausage had no taste/ flavor at all. I have had better breakfast at Waffle House honestly. The service was poor, I sat at the bar and my server only came to check on me once and they weren’t busy at all. Nothing Is worth coming back for.

I wish I had taken time to take more pictures. But being honest-I didn’t get this body by not appreciating great grits! I got an elevated breakfast sandwich with egg, bacon, Gouda cheese, arugula, guacamole and lemon mayo. It was soooo delicious. My grandson ordered a chocolate chip pancake and bacon off the kids menu and I was worried that it might not be enough for him. It was definitely enough for the biggest eaters! My hubby got an omelette and their home fries and he cleaned his plate! I have to mention two more things-Im a coffee snob, and their coffee was delightful. If I would have had more time before we had to rush off to soccer I would have drank more coffee. I also must mention our server, Storm. She was the best waitress. Lovingly taking time to ask us if the sides that came with our meals was ok and telling us what other options were. Because of Storm, the quality of the food and the atmosphere-we will most definitely be back. I’m planning a girls brunch there soon!

Good here is delicious. The bread they use for toast is worth the trip alone and being an Englishman and breakfast is our favorite meal, I loved it so much and the pork sausage links were the best! My daughter had the power breakfast burrito and we fought over the last bite.
