My custom veggie egg-white omelet was a little overcooked, and I’m not quite sure it was just egg whites.
The potatoes and onions were tasty, but could have been softer for my taste.
I’m not sure exactly what dish my friend had, but she seemed to enjoy it with no complaints.
First Watch is a great place with a menu sure to please most folks.
As soon as we were seated we were immediately approached by our waitress who was very nice. We both went with the iced coffee, now I’m a Starbucks girly so this to me was not an iced coffee. I tasted no coffee at all it almost reminded me of chocolate milk. Tasty, but if you’re in the mood for an iced coffee this wasn’t it.
There is a large everyday menu plus a special menu, I ordered from the special menu. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with a little bit of a spin to it called a B.E.C
Now this was very tasty, had a little bit of a kick to it, plenty of bacon, egg cooked just right.
Now you get a side with it and I ordered cheesy grits which I absolutely love…well not so much today. Again they were not horrible but lacked flavor. I really added quite a bit of salt to them, and they were very generous with the cheese topping which was baked on.
My friend opted for french toast with fruit topping. And when I say she cleaned her plate she cleaned that plate!! She said they were A1.
I definitely plan to go back, they had a pretty extensive menu with a lot of options, including some healthy alternatives. And as the runners were walking through with plates I was checking them out and none of them looked disappointing.. I say if you’re in the area check it out. I’m assuming during the week it would be less busy. They are open until 3:00 p.m. everyday I believe.
The restaurant staff is extremely kind, and the food came out relatively quick and tasted pretty good! I love the variety and the fact that they have seasonal items and offer healthy alternatives.
