First Watch is an award-winning breakfast, brunch and lunch spot, serving a chef-driven menu of elevated classics and seasonal specialties, always made to order using the freshest ingredients. We greet the sunrise by slicing and juicing fresh fruits and vegetables, whipping French toast batter from scratch and brewing pots of our single-origin Project Sunrise coffee. Freshness is never comprised, which is why we welcome each season into our menu with ingredients and flavors inspired by the position of the sun. All year long, you can enjoy craveable favorites like Avocado Toast for breakfast, Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict for brunch and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes for lunch. First Watch is one of my favorite breakfast places. I’ve been to several, but the Independence, Kentucky location cannot be matched in its atmosphere and friendly service.
Today I had the opportunity to be served by Ashley. She was helpful in answering questions about the menu, very friendly, and attentive in checking back with me during my breakfast. The service could not have been better. She made me feel like a welcomed guest.
I have visited this location several times, and each time I have left feeling that THIS is the way restaurant service should be.

This place was amazing, the staff were great. I was told they are a new location, and I was looking for something quick and easy. Most first watch I have gone to can be busy. Especially the ones in Colorado. For being new I gotta say wonderful staff!
They greeted me when I walked in, they were nice and my favorite is they held the door open. Noah does a good job of that! Ask about my day, which made me fill better.
The waitress Kendall, and Paige and Noah were all so helpful, kind and amazing. Aubrey the manager with the man bun, didn’t realize he was the manager was great as well! They constantly checked in on me especially being that I did a solo table brunch with myself!
Now to the food it was amazing. I got the crunch stack and got the Banana nut, granola pancake, and upgraded my bacon to the Million dollar bacon which tasted amazing! Food came out quick and cooked! I would recommend this place and location to anyone! The staff made this place enjoyable!

Great tasting Carrot Cake Pancakes, French Toast, Scrambled Eggs, Chicken Sausage Patties and Purple Haze beverage! The atmosphere here is the best First Watch experience I’ve ever had and the service was exceptional! I highly recommend coming to this new location!
