This place was amazing! My French toast was the best. The potatoes here are to die for. They taste SO GOOD. Our waitress was super nice and did a good job serving us. I would definitely go back.

I’m extremely disappointed with my order from the University Dr. location. I ordered the Barbacoa Breakfast Tacos and there was barely any meat on them. For the price you pay, this is unacceptable. The little bit of barbacoa that was there was light, dry, and lacking flavor — definitely not the tender, juicy meat you expect.
To make it worse, the food was cold. It was brought straight to me, and I only drove about 7 minutes before opening it to eat. There’s no reason it should have already been cold.
This isn’t my first bad experience with takeout from this location, but it is the last straw. When you’re paying restaurant prices, you expect decent portions, quality, and at the very least hot food. Unfortunately, this location continues to disappoint.
Management seriously needs to address consistency, portion control, and food quality.

Always a great experience. Areli was a fantastic server and the food is always top notch. But their coffee is absolutely the reason we chose First Watch whenever we can.

Twice this week, we enjoyed breakfast at First Watch. Amazing breakfast and lunch offerings. Not only is the food delicious, the staff is very attentive to you during your meal. This morning, even the manager came by to inquire how our meals were and to thank us for our business. That’s rare. I would highly recommend coming here, especially if you’re looking to get a great meal at a reasonable cost before boarding a plane at the Fort Myers airport.

I had the seasonal chimichurri breakfast with the morning meditation. Let me just say I was feeling overly exhausted. That breakfast was tasty and the juice brought me back to life. Highly would recommend.

Best Salad ever!! Cobb salad with chicken & shrimp super YUM!! We only had time for a quick lunch. The waitress was just ok, the host, who may have been the manager was funny. In addition to the salads my mom had a steak sandwich she enjoy & the dessert was so photo worthy it made me realize I didn’t take any other pics lol definitely going back for the salad!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five-Star Review – First Watch, Fort Myers (Gulf Coast Town Center)
Reviewed by a very satisfied food critic

If you’re anywhere near the Gulf Coast Town Center in Fort Myers and in search of a breakfast or brunch spot that delivers on all fronts—look no further than First Watch. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth, seated promptly, and treated to an experience that exceeded expectations in every category—food, service, and atmosphere.

Let’s start with the service—the true highlight of our visit. Our server, Anthony, deserves a standing ovation. He was attentive without hovering, friendly without being overbearing, and somehow always there when we needed something without us ever having to ask. It’s rare to experience service this smooth and intuitive—Anthony is a pro, and he elevated our meal to something special.

The atmosphere at First Watch is everything you want in a modern breakfast eatery—bright, relaxed, and welcoming, with a clean and thoughtfully designed space that lets the food and service shine.

Now for the food—simply outstanding. I ordered the Avocado Omelette, and I’m still thinking about it. Fluffy eggs wrapped around perfectly ripe avocado, crispy bacon, and a dollop of sour cream made for a flavor-packed bite every time. The real surprise, though, was the side salad—a refreshing, crisp mix dressed in an unforgettable oil and lemon dressing that was tangy, balanced, and completely addictive. It was the perfect complement to the richness of the omelette.

From start to finish, our visit to First Watch was top-notch all the way. This is the kind of place you find yourself coming back to again and again—not just for the food, but for the genuine hospitality and polished execution.

Highly, highly, highly recommend stopping by. Ask for Anthony if you can—you won’t regret it.

— Five stars, with zero hesitation.
