The wife and I had breakfast at First Watch. The breakfast was good. The waitress was attentive and friendly, the restaurant was clean. Everything was good. When we went to pay our bill. I was surprised that they didn’t offer Military discount or senior discount. I only support restaurants that support military and seniors. I probably won’t be back to eat there again until they change their policy. There are to many restaurants that support them. That’s why I support them.

There was no waiting. Kris, with a “K”, was very attentive. I told her it was our first time being there. We are newbies as I put it, and she had no problem acknowledging it. They didn’t have regular sugar for my coffee due to it being on the healthy side as Kris explained, but I was satisfied with what was offered instead. She answered all questions and made suggestions. Food was tops and the vibe was great. We will try to remember to visit again when we are on the next Vaycay!!

The potatoes are surprisingly excellent. The omelette is single fold “diner style” rather than trifold French style. Rome was late but Jace was a no show.

I’ve been a regular customer at this location for a few months now. It’s hit or miss (more misses) but this last visit broke the camels back. This place is absolutely awful. No consistency in the food or the service. This morning we had to walk out because they served my children MOLDED blueberries/fruit, severely undercooked bacon and burnt to a crisp pancakes. I asked the server to remake my kids burnt French toast. While waiting for our server to come back to let her know our food wasn’t good – she deliberately ignored me to tend to other customers. After a few minutes of that, I got up and took my burnt/undercooked food back the kitchen myself. Few more minutes go by, finally a manager! I showed them all the undercooked food, burnt food and moldy blueberries. The manager looked at it, stared at me like I was the one that was crazy and said nothing. Just blank stare. The server had the rest of our food in her hand – everything else was burnt to hell or undercooked as well. The French toast I asked to be remade was so undercooked the second time, I almost felt like this was some intentional petty move from the kitchen. When I realized that and this was going to be some game, we walked out. I told them none of this is cooked correctly and we weren’t going to pay almost a $100 for food we’re gonna sick from. The staff and manager looked at this nasty food and still sent it out the second time around. They know what they’re doing but they don’t seem to give a single care. The manager offered no explanation, recourse or apology. There is always an issue with this location and the manager is either too stupid or lazy to make things right. Corporate should really look into this location and the white man manager.

The food was good but what really made this 5 star id the customer service. The staff were amazing and I noticed that I wasn’t the only one being treated this way. All the other customers at the time had a smile.

Food was pretty good. They have healthy drinks. My favorite is the Lemon Ricotta Pancake. The new elote burrito was delicious and very filling. Highly recommended
Shrimp and grits had the right spice and grits weren’t gritty. Definitely recommend because you will get your money’s worth.

This was our first time dining at First Watch, and we chose it to celebrate my wife’s birthday brunch. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the occasion.

To start on a positive note, I was genuinely impressed with the quality of service at the front—friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Tri-Fecta with French Toast, which was decent, though it came lightly dusted with powdered sugar and not much else. My wife and kids opted for pancakes, and we all noticed we were only given one small bottle of syrup to share—it didn’t go far.

The real letdown came with our order accuracy and service. We specifically requested no butter, but everything from the toast to the pancakes was covered in it. Our waitress seemed disengaged, never returned with drink refills, and only came back about 20–25 minutes later to drop off the check.

All in all, what should have been a simple, enjoyable family brunch left us disappointed.

First Watch newbie and pleasantly surprised! Fabulous menu items- hard to decide which to try first. Our table opted for the pick 2/10 lunch. Soup-sandwich-salad. All came out quick and to order. Presentation was nice and portion size was above average. But most importantly taste was excellent! My warm maple Dijon dressing should’ve been served with a straw, it was that good! And finding a fast food ORGANIC salad won me straight away. Only criticism I could scrape up is a few salad leaves were wet/mushy. Otherwise- this is my new fave restaurant while in Jax. Our server was very accommodating as well. Just go- you won’t be disappointed…

I’ve been to the Phoebix locations and glad that my daughter wanted to take me here. She dines at this restaurant quite often.

The decor is consistent compared to other locations. As far as service, I can’t remember her name, but she was definitely nice. All the time my daughter dines here, she was her server. Great service all around.

Food:
Million Dollar Bacon
French Toast

I’m not sure what my daughter ordered, but it was delicious. The syrup is served warm, and I always love the French Toast. It’s so basic but so good.

Overall, it’s a great spot to dine at.
