I had different expectations. The place is nice but they need a little more organization. When you first get there they have people paying and waiting to get a table altogether and it gets a little bit chaotic. You can feel the anxiety of the hostess. I think they should let people pay at their table instead and it will allow the flow at the entrance. Food was good but s we had to constantly look for our server.

I’ve generally heard good things about First Watch, so this was a bit disappointing. I ordered the avocado toast, but the avocados were noticeably browned and tasted like they had started to turn. The bacon bits on top were extremely hard — hard enough that I genuinely felt like I cracked a tooth on one.
That said, the atmosphere was pleasant and the service was good. The staff was friendly and attentive, and many of the dishes I saw at nearby tables actually looked quite appetizing, so this may have just been an off day or an unfortunate menu choice on my part. I’d consider giving it another try, but this particular meal missed the mark.

I usually don’t complain about waiting for my food when a place is busy, but this First Watch is honestly the worst when it comes to to-go orders.
I ordered two meals to enjoy on my birthday. I placed the order around 11:25, with a scheduled pickup time of 11:51. When I arrived, the food was not ready. I asked an employee to check on it, and she said they were about to pack it. I understand that delays can happen when a place is busy, so I waited an additional 20 minutes just for it to be “packed.”
When I got home and opened the food, I was honestly like wth. There were barely two spoonfuls of gravy, the food was no longer warm, and the grits were rock hard. I don’t believe that the food was „getting packed“ pretty sure it was already sitting there and they forgot. ♂️
And im sure i will also get just a generic response to this complaint like all the other people did. Smh…

Disgusting. I ordered eggs over medium. First attempt- my eggs were overcooked. Next attempt – the egg whites were raw. Now I’ve wasted money being excited to try a new place. When I should have known better by looking at the sanitation grade. 91.5% ZERO STARS!!!!! I asked the server what her favorite was and she just shook her head. . Clue #2! This place is TRASH! I came to spend money on food to eat, drink and be merry. I’ll just take that off your bill isn’t a remedy. I wanted food. Instead I’m leaving the restaurant hangry and looking for something to eat because their cook doesn’t know how to cook.

I ordered the avocado toast with two eggs to go and received everything except the toast!!! Which is literally the main part of the dish. Since this was a to-go order, I’m not driving another 20 minutes just to get toast. They also didn’t include a straw with my drink. Paid $20.
For the price they charge, you’d expect better attention to detail and quality. On top of that, the avocado tasted old and not fresh at all. Overall, very disappointing experience.

I love to eat at First Watch, servers were very attentive to needs, friendly, and coffee is fresh all the time…lately I noticed the quality of food is not as best as how it used to be, but I always get the best food the way I liked it cooked because my favorite server always make sure that my food is cooked the way I want it to be. Hurrayyy for Jasmine “Jas” she’s the best server at First Watch in Corning Pl Charlotte. Hey First Watch it’s time to recognize excellent service for Jasmine “Jas,” she deserves to be recognize!

The food is always good. We frequently have Randy as our server and he is absolutely amazing! So kind, so funny. He’s always on top of things; even when the whole place is slammed! My whole family just adores him. Highly recommend!

Wish I could give this place 0 ⭐️. Service terrible, The plate my food arrived on was dirty. Old crusty stains on the plate under my food. Silverware super dirty. Waitress says this is her 2nd day, so I’ll cut her some slack. But overall bad experience. Will NEVER return. Also, the manager was “Too Busy” to address my concerns.
