First Watch is an award-winning breakfast, brunch and lunch spot, serving a chef-driven menu of elevated classics and seasonal specialties, always made to order using the freshest ingredients. We greet the sunrise by slicing and juicing fresh fruits and vegetables, whipping French toast batter from scratch and brewing pots of our single-origin Project Sunrise coffee. Freshness is never comprised, which is why we welcome each season into our menu with ingredients and flavors inspired by the position of the sun. All year long, you can enjoy craveable favorites like Avocado Toast for breakfast, Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict for brunch and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes for lunch. Fabulous food. My new “happy place.”
Retirement lunch today with 12 from church. Charles, waiter/server, the most efficient, energetic, engaging and experienced. Handled separate orders correctly, quickly, kept us all smiling and satisfied.

They were not kidding about the size of the pancakes. Good difference in the food scene. Food was good. We enjoyed the potatoes, bacon and sausages the best.

My favorite breakfast spot! Food is always great, comes out quick and fresh. Service was good, our server was very helpful and had great recommendations, the morning meditation and barbacoa tacos were delicious. Julandus the manager was vey attentive, kind, and professional. I highly recommend!

First Watch of Chapel Hill exceeded my expectation! Looking for a new breakfast spot in the area for my husband and I and we decided to give this place a try. I must say I was impressed with the food and the atmosphere but what really blew us away was the excellent service we received from the manager Julandus! He was so attentive and made sure that we were well taken care of. His professionalism is beyond anything I’ve ever seen in a breakfast restaurant that is typically busy during brunch hours. He rotated around the establishment checking on the kitchen, the front staff as well as the customers. We will definitely be returning to this location. The food was good, the prices were very reasonable, and the service was immaculate! Thanks again Julandus and the staff of First Watch Chapel Hill.

Will is an excellent Server/ Waiter. He ran a lot for me and made my breakfast experience perfect! Today I had 4 eggs, 2 orders of bacon, a pancake, great coffee, and a … drink! I gave 4 stars on the atmosphere because they have a portable air conditioner out on the floor, which looks pretty bad, and the bathroom looks old and not easy to keep clean. Maybe this is a new location, but they definitely need to upgrade the bathrooms. And get a real air conditioning system, if possible. Otherwise, the rest of our atmosphere is great.

Finally, I need to give a shout out to the friendly staff who each said something to me (acknowledged me) as I walked in and out. DK, Rigo, and Kat even approached my table while I was here to see if I needed anything. Very good representation of the restaurant. Thank you guys for another five star meal!
