First Watch is an award-winning breakfast, brunch and lunch spot, serving a chef-driven menu of elevated classics and seasonal specialties, always made to order using the freshest ingredients. We greet the sunrise by slicing and juicing fresh fruits and vegetables, whipping French toast batter from scratch and brewing pots of our single-origin Project Sunrise coffee. Freshness is never comprised, which is why we welcome each season into our menu with ingredients and flavors inspired by the position of the sun. All year long, you can enjoy craveable favorites like Avocado Toast for breakfast, Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict for brunch and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes for lunch. Whether you start at the crack of dawn or not, we’ll leave that up to you!

Honestly the experience at a First Watch is the same at most of their locations. The wait is long to be seated which is fine because you choose to wait. But i have always found that the wait for food is too long especially for the type of food they serve. We waited almost 30 min after ordering for our plates and as you can see they should be quick and easy plates as most of their menu is. We were seated towards the slow down so it’s not like they were slammed either. The food was decent. The Farmhouse Hash was alright, we asked to add chorizo and it didn’t really have much added and the bread served with it was a bit on the burnt side. The Biscuits and Turkey Gravy barely had enough gravy for the two biscuits that the order brings. It was good though, so i cant be too hard on it. The potatoes were good but just barely cooked enough for the center not to be raw which some people like. Disappointingly when i got my order the eggs were not made to over hard but rather over easy which they corrected quickly so not the biggest of issues. The waffle was good, had a slightly crispy outside and airy soft inside. Coffee was good. Service was good when we had it but i did find them not to be that attentive which some people prefer as they don’t like someone hovering around too much. We did wait a bit after finishing our meal to finally get to ask for the check. Overall it was a decent experience nothing too negative to say but personally it’s not worth the wait.

My family and I go there and order 3 different things. I asked for Egg Benedict to come with chicken, it has a tiny amount of chicken and was so dry like a leftover food, the Lemmon taste of the cre was almost zero, the bread was not toasted c, one of the worst experience and fries as a side in our late was burned and some was way undercooked when I told them they said if you have told us soon we brought you another one, really! You can see it in the pictures, and when I went, they did not give me a receipt . I don’t know what to make of it; I was expecting something different from them. One of the worst experiences that I had was with breakfast eating out
Second time after their manager invited us back again; ( please see the second series of the photos)
After a poor experience a few weeks ago, the support team invited my family and me back. This time, the manager, Renzo, welcomed us and ensured everything was taken care of. The service was much better compared to our first visit, and I appreciate the effort they made to give us a better experience.

Good breakfast food- nothing was mind blowing as such but everything we tried was pretty good. We tried the lemon ricotta pancakes, salmon frittata, veggie frittata, veggie sandwich and veggie bowl and all of it was good. The service and ambience are good too.

In general, I always prefer First watch over ihop and similar places. Many varieties. If you want healthy, have options. Food is as expected – in general above average for sure. Depending on what you order.

Our family has breakfast at First Watch in Falls Church every two weeks, and let me tell you—everything is always delicious! There’s absolutely nothing to complain about. We’ve never had to wait long; everything is impressively fast and efficient. The service is outstanding, even though the restaurant is always busy and packed with customers. The staff works together as a team and they are incredibly hardworking.
I truly want to compliment you all—your service is exceptional! I try new restaurants every Saturday and Sunday, but nowhere else compares to the service you provide. Please keep working as a strong team—this is your greatest strength and a big reason why people, including my family, love your food.

I would say 4.5 stars.
I have been here twice. The wait for the food was kinda long, maybe 20 minutes, both times. That’s the main reason I don’t want to give 5 stars.
Their potatoes are delicious. Great texture and flavor.
The first time I had their waffle, it was a bit too crisp. The second time it was nice and fluffier.
Their breakfast sandwich was fine.
Their lemon ricotta pancakes are delicious.
I’m told their avocado toast was great.
The regular scrambled eggs are just normal. If you come here, don’t order just eggs. But it’s good that some of their dishes come with eggs.

First Watch serves up a fantastic breakfast and brunch experience with fresh, delicious food. Everything we ordered was well-prepared and flavorful—definitely a spot that takes quality seriously! The omelets, breakfast hash, and pancakes were outstanding, and the portions were generous.
The only downside was the Club Sandwich—the bread was a bit dry and didn’t quite meet the standard of the other dishes. Additionally, the wait time was extremely long (about 1.5 hours), which was disappointing. It seems like the place is incredibly popular, and I wish they had a larger facility to accommodate the crowd. I’m not sure if the wait is only a weekend issue, but I’d be curious to see how things are on a weekday.
Despite the long wait, the staff remained professional and courteous, and the restaurant has plenty of parking. I’d definitely return, but next time, I’ll try to come at a less busy time.

I liked this place very much. We had pancakes (chocolate chips, and lemon ricotta) and avocado toast. They all were very good. Eggs were fresh. Coffee was good too, and you could get a cup for take out too. Staff was responsive. Lot of parking spots are available. Kids like it. We went there in a Sunday morning around 9 am. It was not crowded and got seated. It got crowded later, though you can sit outside.

The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made sure everything went smoothly. The environment was clean, well-organized, and had a welcoming vibe. The drinks were fantastic, with refreshing natural flavors that paired perfectly with our meal.
