Only then did she go check, making an excuse about how the servers usually bring orders up, which felt dismissive. About 5–6 minutes later, she brought my food out and mispronounced my name — even though I had just told her the correct pronunciation. She didn’t bother to correct herself.
By the time I got my food, it was 10:50, well past the promised time. to make things worse, my order was wrong. I specifically asked for over medium eggs, but they came over easy.
As a local resident who lives just two minutes away, this location is very convenient for me, but the way I was treated compared to the white customers was unacceptable. I will not be returning or giving them my business again.
We went around 10:00 am on a Tuesday, server was Luis, a nice guy and efficiently good!
The coffee price threw me off a bit-$3.50, but you het a small pot and refills and the coffee is really good.
My friend got the avocado toast on gluten free bread and loved it. My frittata rustica was very delicious too.
Definitely a place worth going to!!
All four of us felt like the salads tasted off and were really gross from the start, but we all kinda forced it down to get some greens. Happened to find this guy marinating in our salad toward the end which made a lot of sense.
Once I brought it to the waiters attention, she took the plate away and came back and had given me a 50% discount, only on that dish even though we had 4 salads. 50% off one dish with a giant moth in it was more of a slap in the face than anything.
We had to talk to the host at check out to get the one item’s full cost removed. No other discounts. It’s not about the money but we all left feeling ill and had not been given proper consolation or compensation.
In addition, neither the host and waiter were polite or friendly. Did not kick our day off to a good start.
Quality control is important and is something that this restaurant lacks.
Would not go back or recommend.
