I ordered a 2 meat plate $20.83 total
Ordered fatty brisket and ribs green beans and southern sweet corn

The brisket was tender and pulled off the pit at the right temp. However it lacked salt and pepper. Very bland

Ribs ordered dry, they were also cooked well and pulled at the right temp. They were not over cooked like some places (fall of the bone) style, they had a good snap to the rib
However also bland, lacked sufficient smoke salt and pepper.

The green beans were from a can maybe doctored up a bit.

Corn was disgusting i threw it away.

No homeade bbq sauce was served with the meal they had a couple of third party sauces out, all were not very good to me.

For all the trophies they have displayed, you would expect better bbq

Mid level at best, this experience.

I had to heavily salt and pepper the meat to halfway enjoy the rest of the meal.

Worst 20 bucks ive spent on a meal in awhile on a meal. Left hungry. I would not drive out of your way to try their bbq.

Amazing food, nice people.
I enjoyed the experience & as a baked potato connoisseur…. I must say it was definitely one of the best I ever had. I would recommend calling first because some items tend to be sold out when it gets later in the day, especially the potatoes and green beans.

I actually left this place extremely disgusted.
First, charging patrobs 50c for a water cup – then not caring enough to give it to the customer upon ordering… It’s obnoxious. Just stop this! I was afraid to walk into the bathroom, they might be charging for toilet paper. Or better, yet they could charge people for the air, they breathe when they dineing in. You really don’t want people to walk away feeling this way, do you?

Sausage is chapel hill… it is slow cooked, but the outside casing is so raw you can’t chew it. Had to spit it out. Put a little smoke and char on it, then it would be just fine. QC tip, if you can’t chew it, don’t serve it. Please, don’t do it the way you’ve been doing it, it’s nasty…

Ribs were sold out at it noon. I got the last three. They looked great but lacking in flavor. Maybe they forgot the rub, regardless it was mush, way overcooked.

I smoked a lot of meat, and I have been to a lot of bbq places in TX. I was excited about their championship claims. Sadly, this was easy to say, beyond a doubt, this was one of the worst I have been to.

I hope your experience is better than mine. I could never go back!

Great place for BBQ. We got our food fast. The service was very courteous and friendly. The sliced brisket was the most tender and moist brisket I’ve ever had. It is obvious why they have won so many awards for their BBQ. I liked the green beans and the baked beans the best from the sides we tried (potato salad and corn were the others). They had run out of the Mac and cheese by the time we arrived, which was close to closing. We got the two meat plates. Ask for bread on the side. Chicken was dry, but good. Especially when you slather on the BBQ sauce. Definitely a good stop for BBQ.

Food was great. Brisket falls apart and chicken was juicy. But they close early. Sell out fast. Why not buy more supplies so u can stay open later and make more money.

Came here on a Wednesday at 12:45. Out of potatoes, mac and cheese, etc. No unsweet tea. They said they “couldn’t get unsweet tea”. What? Also charged for a water cup. Ridiculous! Brisket was tender but was not very warm. Creamed corn was literally from a can and the green beans were the same. Wanted to try it because of the great reviews but I doubt we will be back.

Best wagyu brisket we ever had! Top notch as were the beans! Huge portions to enjoy while taking in the casual atmosphere and many trophies. Employee was very friendly and the pit master was jolly and super friendly also! You will be very happy you stopped here!

I have visited this place when I’m in the area. (traveling from Houston) This time the ribs sandwich had a lot of fat so it was thrown away. Why would you serve that? Purchased a half slab of ribs. Pretty meaty ones on top. Not much meat on the bones on the bottom ones. I tried calling and constant voicemail that was full. Don’t think I will be back.

First time here and the pork rib sandwich with coleslaw was generous in portions! It was delicious, I can see why the chef has won so many barbecue awards! Definitely worth the trip to dine!

Brisket must have been in warmer all day, it just falls apart when you try to pick it up, lots of fat in it also. Okay flavor. Bread was stale. Jalapeno/cheese sausage was good. Mac n cheese clumpy and think. Potato salad was good. Chopped beef sandwich was ok, the sauce was over powering. Nice service. Outside patio tables need to be cleaned, and spider webs removed. I really expected better
