We came early on a Wednesday and pretty much had the place to ourselves. The food was absolutely fantastic. I had the Firewater Burger and chose to upgrade to the Parmesan Fries. Great choice! The fries were cut thinner than normal steak fries and had the perfect combination of crunchiness and chewiness. The burger was cooked just right and the smoked cheddar, bourbon-bacon jam, and garlic aioli were the perfect flavor combination.
My wife had the Roasted Beets & Chèvre Salad with Blackened Salmon and loved it as well.
The gorgeous views of the lake were icing on the cake. I’m sure this would be a fun place to come to during the summer when you can arrive by boat and eat outside, but it was nice to have a quiet, romantic dinner to ourselves as well. Can’t recommend this place highly enough!

Sierra was amazing! We had dinner and drinks and everything was awesome. The lamb lollipops were to die for. I had the Firewater Burger and fries, and it was delicious. Also the Orchard’s edge cocktail was perfect for a beautiful fall day. Highly recommend!

It was our first time in Deep Creek and this place came highly recommended and I can see why. The view was phenomenal and eating outside was a treat. Our server was friendly, kind, and fast. Our drinks were delicious and I was impressed by the creativity and variety of the cocktails offered (so good I couldn’t have just one). My husband’s scallops were large and the curry sauce was flavorful. My tuna tacos were delicious (I loved the mango slaw). Not pictured was the street corn dip which was seasoned incredibly well with a little bit of heat. My only complaint was I didn’t order some of the dip to go. Honestly a truly lovely experience.

We had such a great time and the food was fantastic! Sasha gave the best recommendations. The scallops and the salmon BLT were delicious. Definitely one of the top places to eat in Deep Creek with a great view. We’ll be back again.

This place is beautiful! We got there early so we didn’t have to wait for a table outside and it was worth it. Drinks were amazing, service was excellent across the staff that supported our busy server, and the atmosphere was perfect. The food was good, but I was disappointed with part of my meal because the potatoes were undercooked and covered in black spots—which was a $36 scallop entree with the potatoes being the most filling part of the meal. I told the server but nothing was done to accommodate the situation, but we would still come back.

Outstanding all around. Excellent and attentive service, delicious food and drinks (the pimento cheese dip is so great), and most importantly, a wonderful lakefront atmosphere. This was hands down our favorite dinner spot on our recent vacation to DCL, we even went back for Tiki Night later in the week which was great!

Was out at deep creek for the day and stopped here at Firewater— it was the perfect choice. We sat indoors with the patio windows open so we can enjoy the water sites and breeze. The drinks were spectacular – Sage inspired gin cocktail and crisp beer. The food was tasty though the salmon sandwich was a little dry. The remoulade was a must but even so the blackened salmon was a little dry. The chicken sandwich was tasty though in the smaller side. Would definitely return but just aware of what I was ordered. Fries were incredible! Service was on point.

Did not have any appetizers or food just stopped by to have a few drinks. Had 2 Orchards edges cocktails , very delicious and refreshing for this time of the year. Had a dried but soft apple slice, and a wafer. Rim had like possibly a twist of cinnamon and sugar, but not overloaded, done just right!

Right from the start, the wait time was accurate, and they made it easy with drinks and comfy outdoor seating while we hung out. When we were finally seated, the service was incredible — so attentive and smooth that you’d never guess the restaurant was packed. They somehow manage to make every guest feel cared for, no matter how busy it gets. It’s that kind of reliable, welcoming service that keeps you coming back again and again.
