The only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is the ranch! Ranch is that sour tasting one that’s just not good. While the crab cakes are good if you’ve ever had true Maryland crab cakes then I don’t need to say more lol..Eh! Everything else was excellent! Fried chicken cooked well, gravy was great and my husband’s burger was cooked perfectly as well! The side salad is definitely shareable but that ranch is NOT good. BEST house made chips I’ve had anywhere and we travel a lot!!Our waitress was very attentive and sweet.

I was visiting my parents and they decided they wanted to go here for dinner. The menu was not the most impressive offering a few pasta options, sandos, burgers and steaks. I chose the steakhouse burger which was clearly a premade chewy patty on a ciabatta roll with onion rings as a side. It was lacking in flavor and condiments. The onion rings portion was skimpy with 5 rings on the plate – my stepdad got 6 with his fish sando. My mom had the baked spaghetti which was very unique. The sauce was quite sweet and very heavy on oregano. The sauce wasn’t mixed well with the noodles before it was baked and it was topped with a very large helping of cheeses. The breadstick looked like it was baked from frozen.

If the server hadn’t been so attentive, I would have been more harsh with my rating – she saved the day.

I don’t live nearby, but I won’t be coming back next time I’m in the area either.

We have been in the area quite frequently, but had never stopped here to eat. I wish we would have gone sooner. It was around 3:30 PM, so we didn’t have to wait to be seated. Our waitress was quick to take our order and, after bringing our food, checked on us three or four times. The food itself was delicious. If you like seafood, definitely try the crab cake appetizer. Over all, our first trip to the FireSide Grille was amazing. This won’t be our last visit.

First we got the Big Azz Pretzel. It was so hard that we were sawing on it with knives forever. The cheese dip was cold and clumpy. I ordered the Cajun Chicken Pasta with a Caeser Salad. The salad was so drenched in dressing that I couldn’t eat it. Then I received the pasta and that was even worse! It was like a bowl of onion soup with noodles in it. I only found 2 small bites of chicken. I’ve never seen a pasta dish so soupy. Even worse, it tasted terrible. I didn’t even eat a quarter of it. One of my friends got the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich with Onion Rings. Her sandwich was dry and the onion rings were hard and inedible. My other friend ordered the Pulled Pork sandwich with sweet potato fries. The fries were so overdone they were nearly black. The sandwich was mediocre. The moral of the story is if you don’t want to spend the rest of the night in the bathroom, like the 3 of us, don’t go there!

If we could give Fireside Grille in Hurricane, West Virginia 100 stars, we absolutely would! This is hands down one of the most incredible dining experiences we’ve ever had.

I ordered the fish sandwich, and I swear the fish was at least 13–14 inches long, thick from end to end, perfectly breaded, and paired with flawless tartar sauce. I also had the best baked potato ever—fluffy, perfectly cooked, and loaded just right. My husband had the grilled salmon with bourbon sauce, and it was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, accompanied by a fresh Caesar salad and perfectly creamy coleslaw.

Our waitress, Micah, made the experience truly unforgettable. She was so attentive, checking on us multiple times throughout the meal to make sure everything was perfect. I would give her 100 stars if I could—she went above and beyond and made us feel like VIPs.

While walking past other tables, we couldn’t help but notice some of the other dishes—they were piled high, huge portions, and looked absolutely mouthwatering. Honestly, everything on the menu looked like a winner.

If you’re coming to the area, you have to try Fireside Grille. We cannot recommend this place enough!!!!

As a native of Putnam County, we almost always make at least one trip to FireSide Grille when I visit “home” from NC. No other area restaurants are as convenient, offer consistently delicious dishes or have the service/staff that FireSide does. Over the years, we’ve enjoyed, attended — and even used/rented ourselves — their in-house private rooms and catering services for numerous occasions/events, and have always had a positive experience. And I’ve always been rest assured that when/if there are any issues, management is more than accommodating. In particular, the General Manager, Scotty, is sure to make your experience at FireSide the best it can be by helping you with any reasonable request. (Tickle his belly and call him “pretty” and you’ll be besties for life.)

The service and food was top notch. They even have a bar with delicious girly drinks. It’s a great place to meet up with friends to enjoy food laughter and drinks. The atmosphere was comfortable and fun. We had a blast watching the gentleman at the bar and their reaction to the game that was on. Definitely a place I’ll put on my list of favorites.

Travelling through the area we try to eat at new places. Stopped for lunch. My husband had a fish sandwich with onion rings while I had french onion soup and a half turkey sandwich. Enjoyed our food, my soup was a little salty but good.

Ordered the Judie’s Berry Salad. The description states dried berries and spinach. Received salad and there are no berries. Only pecans and mandarin oranges which were not listed in the description. There may have been 2 sprigs of spinach. The rest was spring mix salad. Very disappointed.
