Fireside at Great Wolf Lodge is an amazing dining experience for the whole family! The fire-cooked dishes are full of flavor and really bring out that cozy, outdoorsy vibe, it feels like a warm summer night in the North Woods. I loved the creative twists on classic dishes and the fun build-your-own options. The atmosphere is inviting and perfect for families to gather, relax, and enjoy a meal together. Definitely more than just “dinner”, it’s a memorable experience that everyone will enjoy!

– it can be noisy
– the healthy options on the menu are too much salad and not much protein. Let’s be honest, if you pay 20$ in a salad, you expect not just the greens

Should have listened to the negative reviews. The food wasn’t great, but the service was the worst. We went on a Tuesday night when the restaurant was slow and there were many empty tables and somehow it still took over 45 minutes for the waitress (Steph) to even acknowledge our existence and take our drink order. She walked by several times and checked on the table next to us, but didn’t say a word. We could see her standing around and chatting with a coworker by the front of the restaurant so it’s not like she was super busy and couldn’t get to us yet. The final time she went over to a nearby table they asked her if she was going to take our order. She finally came over and still didn’t apologize or acknowledge that we had been waiting. This place is definitely not worth the price or your time. Fireside is also located right by the main door so it was very cold and drafty. Definitely not cozy. There are excellent dining options, such as Barley Creek, less than 5 minutes from the lodge. Highly suggest skipping all the dining options at Great Wolf.

Fireside was extremely disappointing, especially given the high prices.
The food was very subpar. The nachos were essentially a bag of plain chips with a tiny amount of what tasted like canned or pre-packaged chicken and a small handful of melted shredded cheese. Only about eight chips actually had toppings; the rest were completely bare. For the price, that’s unacceptable.
The burger was served warm, completely unseasoned, and forgettable. The chicken Caesar salad had watered-down dressing and extremely soggy croutons, as if it had been sitting for a long time. Overall, the food felt like school cafeteria quality disguised as a higher-end restaurant.
The menu itself is also lacking—uninspired, limited, and missing options you’d expect at an expensive resort restaurant.
While our server was very pleasant, service execution was poor. We waited about 30 minutes just to get a second glass of water.
This restaurant relies heavily on location and atmosphere rather than food quality or value. At these prices, guests should expect much better.

At Fireside you will be well taken care of if your fortunate to get Nicolas P as your server! He was a great & was right there whenever we needed him! The burger was good & so were the mozz sticks, I also enjoyed my grilled chicken Asian salad!! The firefly w/ vodka was superfly!!!

This place is really nice and comfortable, waiters are really nice and service was fast! like 10ish maybe more minutes till our food came, I don’t know what other low reviews said about this place, which was pretty stupid! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the smokehouse burger I had and the tropical refresher drink, I’d say if I could give this place a higher rating than 5 stars I would! Also the best time to go is around like 3:00 because lots of people would be having fun in the water park and the place would be less crowded!

I usually dont leave bad reviews as I do understand how restaurant work is hectic, but when you get seated but never given menus, waitress doesn’t introduce herself, sat for 45 minutes before our order was taken, and waitress never came over to assure we were okay, if we needed anything, ect. My spouses Smoked house burger was NOT good, he ate it anyway since we hadn’t eaten all day. Best part was when the waitress Arlene finally came back 45 minutes later to take our order she asked if we were ready to run out or order. If you know your customers are upset, wouldnt you try and give them some compensation or comfort knowing how sorry you are! Overall appalled to spend $155 on a dinner reservation that not one of us enjoyed and will surly never return.

We had dinner at Fireside during our stay at Great Wolf Lodge (me, my wife, and our 5-year-old daughter), and it was honestly one of the worst meals I’ve had in a long time.
We ordered from the kids menu and found something that looked like plastic in our child’s food. That alone is unacceptable.
I ordered a burger, and we also ordered a steak cooked medium-well—but it came out completely black and burnt on the outside, and tough to eat. The whole meal tasted like frozen food that had been microwaved. Even the fries were dried out and shriveled.
For the price, this was a huge disappointment. We barely ate and ended up leaving. Strongly do NOT recommend. Also, I’m honestly surprised this place has a 3-star rating.

I have no complaints on the food from my point of view. The fish was crispy and chock full of fish. The mac n cheese was creamy. The smoked wings were very tender! I wish our waitress was a bit more attentive but it was a busy Saturday night. We were seated right away right at 5pm. For 5 people and appetizer it was just under $200 but it’s what you expect to pay at a resort. Overall I’m not sure why there are so many poor reviews. I leave honest reviews and have no reason not to. In my honest opinion its expected on price and the food was really tasty!!

Because of the reviews, we were going to eat elsewhere but for the sake of time, we decided to eat breakfast here. It looked better than the buffet across the lobby. The service was great, the food was delicious and the drinks were strong! For 4 adults and 3 kids, we paid a little over $200 with tip. Not bad for a resort meal with extra sides ordered and drinks.
