It’s our first time to Firepan KBBQ! Their spicy pork belly is sooooooooooo good!!!!!we ordered like 3-4 times in between 2 of us. Also thin-cut pork belly, thin-sliced beef brisket, Firepan steak were all good! The best part was our server “Zey” was soooo attentive and amazing!
He came around to change our grill, help us cook some of the spicy pork. His honest, on point recommendation on meats were sooooooo good!!!!!!
He made me feel home and wish all the servers everywhere we go was like Zey.

my bf put me onto this restaurant in 2024 and we haven’t stopped going since! i always recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting top tier food and top tier service! our server for today was Vy and she made us feel so comfortable and welcome! she’s an amazing server and should be recognized as such. i will never stop coming to or recommending Firepan Korean BBQ Silver Spring!! the pics included range from 2024-2026! you won’t regret eating at firepan. trust

Great first experience. Traveling and decided to find a spot close to my hotel. My waitress Gia was amazing. Very attentive and helpful. She was friendly, helped make suggestions, and noticed when I needed refills of bon chon. I had option B and ordered spicy pork chop, soy pork chop, bulgogi, firepan steak, and the crazy California roll. Everything was really tasty and I was able to get some gochujang sauce; which I love. If I lived close I would definitely visit again.

Firepan Korean BBQ
A spur of the moment decision to stop for dinner as we passed this restaurant which was across the large Wayne Ave. Garage. The delicious smells came directly into our faces as the front door was opened.
This looks like a popular neighborhood establishment. We were greeted and seated immediately on a Wed. evening. The setting is a bit dark with neon lights and table booths with their BBQ grills are arranged around the restaurant. It did feel a bit tight for my legs due to the way the BBQ grill was set into the table.
Service was great. The person attending to us helped explain the menu, how to order and decide on which proteins would be brought out. He would occasionally pop over and help grill our meats when we became too busy talking instead of cooking our own meals. We ordered the All You Can Eat Option A and you are given 1 1/2 hr. to eat your meal. Unless you are really hungry, I would order an à la carte dinner instead of the all you can eat option. I particularly enjoyed the thick cut pork belly, steamed egg and spicy tofu stew. They were all delicious.
There were a few small dishes of Banchan to go with our meal and you would need to order additional side dishes of noodles or rice dishes separately from the all you can eat menu selections.
There were tried and true hearty portions of meats to grill and it was quite filling. Nothing extraordinary but tasty and a nice place to visit on a regular basis if you want a satisfying Korean meal.

We had the absolute pleasure of being served by one of the Firepan KBBQ, Silver Spring, MD’s newest members of the team tonight, Alexander D., and for only his third day on the job, he was truly outstanding. He was professional, quick, and incredibly personable—polite in every interaction and attentive without ever being intrusive.

They offered a pretty nice special of around 29.99 for an unlimited supply of meat for an hour while also providing sides and re-orders of meat when needed. Overall the food was pretty good and the restaurant feel was quick and simple. A reservation was needed but it had appeared that the staff were taking longer than usual to tend to all the tables which delayed us using the deal but wasn’t a dealbreaker. Overall a pretty positive experience.

My service was excellent, Johnathan and his shadower, Isaac were great, very tentative to our needs. I would come again, but they are a bit pricey…and you can’t take anything to go, I literally had 4 bites left, a perfect size for a midnight snack…but the communal aspect of cooking together is why we come.
