Unfussy eatery in Knott’s Berry Farm firing up chicken, ribs & turkey legs, plus sandwiches.

Grading this on a curve of theme park food and, honestly, this ranks as high as it gets for their quick service. I got the ribs, chicken, and corn on the cob and they were all delicious. Maybe a little dry but again this is theme park quick service, so you shouldn’t expect anything less. The line is usually pretty long but moves quickly. Plenty of seating, though it is all outside.

Now you have to rate this based on theme park food. I’ve been to all the major amusement parks and tried their food, and this is by far feels like staple restaurant, a food that you would find outside of a theme park.
The atmosphere is what it’s expected to be in the theme park. Lots of people long lines waiting to order. Once you get your order, it’s worth the wait. Trying the barbecue ribs, brisket is all delicious. They come with various sides that you want and and they’re fresh and tasty.
They do make it feel like you’re kind of in the old minors, west, where it feels more historical. Technically, it is historical since the place has been there for over a hundred years!

First time visiting and the only place worth buying something to eat in my humble opinion. You can see how your food is made as they are making it on the fire grill. I went there only for the turkey leg and I was not disappointed! If I ever go back to Knotts berry farm this will be the only spot I will consider buying any kind of meal. I stood in line for over 90minutes for just one turkey leg. It was very frustrating but very delicious which is the sole reason for the 3 stars. They also provided heated lamps by their food court which was very nice. I highly recommend!

Came here for lunch and wanted to try the BBQ chicken and rib plate. We were surprised by the new menu changes. No more mixed meat plates, though you can add a rib or 1/4 chicken for $5 more. We asked and only 2 ribs come on the rib plate so we calculated and it was cheaper to do a chicken plate and add a rib. We ended up with 3 half chicken plates and added 2 ribs to 2 of the chicken plates, fed two teens and 2 adults with some left over so plenty of food. The white meat of the chicken was spot on, full of flavor, moist and juicy while the dark meat was very dry. The rib I got had more meat than the one my husband got, though his was juicy and mine was tough and dry. It did taste better with BBQ sauce. The toast was very buttery and delicious. The corn was perfect. The potatoes were over cooked, it created a hard outer layer. The wait was about 20 mins, line was to the horse stable when we got in line. The service was business, “next in line, you have a season pass, what can I get you?” Food came out fairly quickly. Though we did have a worker who was sweeping the area come take our tray when we were done, that was very nice. They kept the seating area pretty clean. The hand washing station was very nice though hand soap was out.

Casual dining restaurant stand in Ghost Town inside Knott’s Berry Farm offering barbecued meats and sides. They offer plenty of outdoor seating via picnic tables (mix of in shade and sun) and have a large trough sink for washing hands. Pricing is high like what you’d expect from inside an amusement park.
Line moves ridiculously slow and after waiting 20 minutes, we were appalled to learn that the wait time for vegetable skewers would be 2 hours The chicken seemed brined and the skin was super soggy, not grilled at all.
Would recommend skipping this spot.

Almost inedible food. First, the line up for the food took an hour. When we got the food, we tried the smoked turkey leg with a vegetable skewer. The skin on the smoked turkey leg was literally as tough as leather! The turkey meat was very dry and stringy and overcooked. It was very tough to chew and swallow. The vegetable skewer was raw! Disney’s turkey legs are way better, tastier, tender, and juicier.

We try to eat other places in Knotts but often end up here. The ribs are good and big, and for an amusement park not high priced. It’s a deal that is hard to pass up.
Just went again Aug 18 2023. Still good price is steep now. 50.08 for two rib plates and two sodas. Still tender and good flavor. No place like it in the park.

This is one of my favorite spots inside of Knott’s Berry Farm, so you’ll need to be in the park to try it.
The food is classic BBQ fare and it’s better than you would expect inside of an amusement park. The chicken is usually perfectly cooked and not dry, that’s hard to do with this kind of food. The sausage roll is really good, but you’ll need some dressing for it. I’ve tried everything in the menu and everything is good.
I think the best deal is the 1/4 chicken and ribs combo, paired with some of their amazing bbq sauces, this is a top notch place.
Sometimes I wish they had access to it from outside the park somehow. Try to hit up this spot before the main rush hours at meal times because the line can be long, and if you are a frequent visitor to Knott’s, Boardwalk BBQ is one of the main reasons why you want to get a food pass. The prices aren’t exactly cheap, so if you like to save money the food pass is your best bet for this one.

Absolutely amazing! Best part is that we paid for the meal package at knotts and to get a quarter chicken, ribs and I got the corn on the cob. The fire cooked corn didn’t even need butter it was so good. The meat fell off the bone. The line was long but the wait was worth it.
