Service was ok. Got my food a large hook and ladder and my order was wrong after the lady said everything back to me. I don’t come here often but I was very disappointed and my bread wasn’t toasted and felt like as if it was in water. My 2nd sandwich a small hook and ladder was right and looked at tasted good. As a food place that isn’t very cheap you would want your money worth and I did not get my money worth out of my large sandwich.

I ordered a small Smokehouse Beef and Cheddar Brisket and it was maybe 4 inches long. I thought it was a slider, I kid you not. I politely asked the manager about the portion size, thinking that perhaps I had in fact ordered a slider, and he threw me attitude.

The food was pretty good. However, the man who took my order (Kevin) made it an incredibly uncomfortable experience.
From the moment I walked in he was hostile and condescending. I had just gotten off work and I was tired and hungry. I asked a simple question about what soups they had and what was in the loaded potato soup and he treated the question as if it was ludicrous and an inconvenience to answer. I took my time figuring out what I wanted and he was once again completely abrasive as I ordered, if I didn’t know better I would have said he had a personal grievance against me.
After ordering I sat down, where I noticed him glaring at me multiple times while I waited for my order. It honestly made me very uncomfortable. I took my food when it came up, asked about silverware and was once again met with more of the same attitude. I didn’t see it in the bag (that was my mistake) but the attitude was unwarranted.
I am generally a fairly easygoing person and would move past this, but it genuinely made me uncomfortable. For context I am a gay man and I was wearing conventionally feminine earrings, and my regular work clothes (jeans and a t-shirt). Nothing massively flashy other than jewelry, yet this instance felt similar to instances I’ve had in the South where I’ve had to remove jewelry to feel more comfortable being around people in a public space without fear of harassment or worse. I’m not saying its the same thing, but it definitely felt similar. Kevin made this a terrible experience for me.

The staff at the Yucca Valley restaurant are the very best. They never fail to call me by name and make me feel like a superstar. They even know what I order and start the order as I am walking into the restaurant. The food is put together beautifully; the environment is clean and welcoming every time!

The food, the service and everyone in the shop was very friendly. My order was ready and waiting for me when I arrived. I was greeted very friendly and when I added extra items onto the order such as chips, etc. they were super accommodating and they even made sure to doublecheck they weren’t Overcharging me, but I let them know that I ordered the sandwiches ala cart.

I have never had a sandwich that I couldn’t extinguish, until today. I got a stomach call for a large steak and cheese. I had to call in an additional Chihuahua unit to be able to say “code 4”.
I loved the local pictures in the shop. Service was Code 3, almost immediate. Stayed warm and fresh until I got it back in quarters. The sandwich had meat and cheese overflowing from the bun, and the veggies were perfectly distributed. Good coverage, Dudes.

The smokin’ triple stack is available for a limited time but should be a new staple on the menu! Staff recommended it on wheat, and we really liked it. We got a large meal (drink + chips) for about $20 to share. The sandwich was ready within 5 minutes – impressive!

We stopped here on our road trip. The food was disgusting. We had never been to a firehouse subs before and wanted to try it out, but it was our first and last time because we both became violently ill immediately afterwards.

I almost never post a review of anything, but my experience today with this Firehouse Sub was so awful I felt I had to warn others. I was in the front of the line when I ordered three standard sandwiches. It took 26 minutes before I was walking out the door!
Upon returning to my home, it was clear these sandwiches were made incorrectly during those 26 minutes of what I thought were painstaking efforts to make the world’s greatest sandwiches.
I now feel as if I must have been part of the taping of a Candid Camera television show. I ordered two identical sandwiches, which were simply tuna with lettuce and green pepper. Note they were ordered identically. I attached a picture of the receipt here along with pictures of one of the sandwiches. How difficult is it to get a tuna sandwich right? In addition to failing to get the toppings correctly, the tuna salad itself is a complete disaster made with way too much mayonnaise. It would be better suited for caulking windows.
To top things off when I went to enjoy one of the so-called pickles, this is what it looked like in the photo below. I recognize everyone has a bad day. But come on, all these were, were tuna salad sandwiches!
They took longer than the two entrees my wife and I enjoyed at a fine dining establishment last night in Palm Springs. And these sandwiches were simply terrible while the “pickle” was the finishing touch to the insult this entire experience was.
However, since we all want to always look for a silver lining, I’m thinking that after drying this thing out (which clearly won’t take long,) the pickle will serve as a halfway decent doorstop.
