Came into Firehouse Subs for the first time Sunday afternoon with my partner. With that said I had no prior knowledge of the menu other than a brief overview of the website and was looking forward to recommendations. However the employee at the register was extremely rude and impatient. She consistently cut me off as I was bout to ask what the difference in sizes, breads, and sauce on the sub were to ask me the next question”regular” “Bread” “Combo”. By the third Reply I didn’t feel confident to ask any questions and on my third “just the sandwich bu-” she cut me off and said “next”. I replied with “wait no mustard on that please” as she replied “No mustard, Next”. Clearly she was trying to get me out of her face but the store was empty and the “next” person was my partner so that was very unnecessary and disrespectful. Of course I let this go too and replied ” but what is that garlic thing I saw on the website it looked lik – ” as she cut me off again with an attitude and her hands up in the air ” OKAY, Do you want everything on it or NOT?”. At this point It was so incredibly rude that my partner was in shock and stared directly at her, as well as the other employee preparing the sandwiches who leaned in to look at her and her screen behind the counter to see what was going on. At this point I was done and embarrassed so I said ” no mustard but whatever garlic it is as a topping”. “Next” again she insisted as my partner said “that’s it” due to her losing her appetite. We were offered water and the sandwich came out pretty quickly. The only reason I give this place 1 star is due to the employee who handed me my sandwich at the counter, he immediately greeted me with a smile and a happy gesture asking me if I’ve ever tried Italian with hot sauce? He explained that his favorite hot sauce was the carrot chipotle and would go perfect with my sandwich. Provided me with little cups for as much hot sauce as I wanted and then went over all the sauces that they offer. He insisted when I came back I should try all of them at my table and that it would be fun. Maybe he noticed how unsettling we were and tried to cheer the mood up which I greatly appreciate but I won’t ever be coming back to firehouse subs. Its the only location near me and the sub was okay at best. I am not willing to go back and try another item either when I can’t even ask about it or seem like a nuisance. The restaurant was clean as well but service and first impressions is everything. I don’t do reviews but this is one to remember and it bothered my partner too. Rude employee was a older African American lady and the kind employee was a Caucasian younger guy with piercings on his face.

I came here after hearing they have good subs. I came before close on a weekday and it was pretty busy. The customer service was good from some employees and just okay from others. I tried the Hook & Ladder, New York Steamer and loaded potato soup. You can add veggies, dressing and seasoning to make your sub just how you like it.
Everything tasted very good and fresh. Bonus they have my favorite drink cherry limeade on tap (Coca Cola Freestyle). Check them out cause I’ll be back!

Elissa and Luis were so great! They both ensured my order was prepared to my liking even when I ordered online and had specific request. Very courteous and I know my meal is being prepared with care. The sandwich was delicious and I will be returning to visit them soon!

Storefront and restrooms were clean, and well stocked. Staff was friendly and conversational. They dropped off our food and picked up the plates when we were done, which was a pleasant surprise. Food was great like it always is. Highly recommend.

Very good subs that are made to order. Seems like they put a bit more love into their subs than the quick and fast Subway which seems to be more worried about volume. Also they got the fancy fountain drink machines like the movie theaters have with lots of soft drink options.
