I stopped in on 29 Sept 25 and ordered a Large Steak Sub with No Mayo. I said a couple of times when I placed my order to go, I wanted no mayo on the sub. When I got home I found out either they didn’t listen or intentionally put mayo on the sub.
Not only due to the service of the people working last night am I done with this location. I’m finished with the entire Firehouse Sub Franchise. Someone else can have it, no more for me.

I went to Firehouse Subs recently and it took forever to get my food because there were only two people working. They were running around trying to do everything, so I can’t be mad at them, but honestly, why would a place like this only have two workers? It doesn’t make sense to me at all. My sub was fine once I finally got it, but the wait was way too long and it felt like bad planning on whoever’s in charge.

Greeted upon arrival. Lady taking our order was very nice. Fast service: food was delicious and made well. Restaurant was very clean and well kept. Free parking outside. Lots of parking in the parking lot.

Ordered online and picked up. Typically good however they are slacking in amount of meat in the preparation of the subs. See below pic $17.99 for a large combo hook and ladder and this puny amount of meat. Ridiculous!!!

I️ called in a New York Steamer. Quick service, but the girl working seemed to be having a hard day. Not the happiest camper, but her helper was great! Everybody has bad days. The sandwich itself seemed to be thrown together in a hurry and was definitely NOT cut in half. I’ll try another day to see about consistency.

@Jessica/Guest Services…ARE YOU SERIOUS??? WOULD YOU THROW $24 IN THE TRASH TWICE? WE AREN’T EVEN TALKING ABOUT A MISTAKE! HE INTENTIONALLY RUINED MY FOOD. WHY WOULD I ORDER IN THE FUTURE? This is the absolute worst Firehouse Sub location in the country! I ordered my usual at about 15 minutes to close. The person making it rolled his eyes at the manager as he took my order at the register. I should have just left at that moment. Since they were about to close they just didn’t want to make the order. If that is the case, just say so rather than ruining my sandwich to the point that it’s not edible. The entire sandwich was wet with oil and vinegar, had mustard flowing out every side of the sub, the meat was stacked to one side of the sub rather than evenly distributed. Half the meat was cold on a hot sub. This was a flat out waste of time and money for me. I’ll never trust this location again knowing they’re willing to take my order and money then ruin the sandwich rather than just decline the order and close early. Plus there was oil and vinegar on the sub container and the bag they put it in before handing it to me. I literally had to go wash my hands so I wouldn’t get my car sticky. I should have taken a picture of it to send to corporate. Absolutely pathetic product and attitude from the employees. They should close this store until they can get a professional crew trained and in place. I would have returned it but by the time I got home they were closed. I was hungry and needed to eat something so I cleaned the sub off the best I could with a paper towel and scraped the slopy mustard and mayo off so it wouldn’t hit the table flowing out with each bite. It still sucked! If you don’t want to make orders at 8:45 then close at 8:30! Again you should close this location completely until you get a decent staff trained and working. You’ll only drive your reputation into the dirt by “serving” anyone this way. Absolutely pathetic attitude and service, flat out the worst I ever had an ANY Firehouse. I worked at the first location in Florida in 1994 and have eaten at store all over the country. This location is an embarrassment to the company as a whole. One more thing if you’re still reading, several weeks before this incident I walked in to order with 2 other customers in front of me. There was one person making orders, one in back prepping and one stocking the chip rack. The new employee was stoking and continued to do so at the direction of the manager rather than pausing the task to take orders of the 3 people in line. We all waited for several minutes before the manager asked the new trainee to take our orders. For future reference, 3 people standing in line waiting to order is a much higher priority over stocking chips.

I ask for a sub with ham, pepperoni ,provolone lettuce tomato black olives onion and green pepper, oil, vinegar,and oregano , absolutely no mayo, first one was loaded with a sweet Italian type dressing and mayo, they made me another sandwich, well she hand delivered me the next one and I kept tasting a sweet off taste well it was loaded with mayo again, so I decided just to eat it so after a bit or two I took it home, well next day lunch time pulled sandwich from the fridge to doctor it enough to eat it still had a sweet taste happened to pull the meat apart it was one slice of pepperoni on top and the rest was salami ( which is disgusting in my opinion. I payed right at 35 dollars for me and my husband to eat a sandwich with chips and it ended in the trash. Never again. Sorry about the book here but it aggravates me.

Would’ve given 0 stars if I could. We went over an hour before close. Went through my whole order for the girl at the register to tell me it would be on wheat bread at the very end. Not a big fan of wheat but got it anyways. My boyfriend proceeded to order RIGHT after me and she told him right away that if he ordered a large it would be on wheat but the smaller sizes were available to have white bread. I then asked if there was a possibility to just get my sub made in 2 small portions so I could have white bread and she said no since I already paid. Don’t think that should’ve made a difference. Same size same ingredients just different bread. She didn’t ask her manager for help and didn’t attempt to make it right in any way. Already didn’t love the customer service from that.. but then someone was mopping the lobby and mopped right around our feet as if we were in the way. I understand you have to get closing stuff done but maybe don’t mop around my feet? Never coming back here.
