Fit for a hero…which is exactly what the name entails!
I recently stopped him to grab my birthday sub. I ordered that online along with the rest of my order and came in to get. It was ready on time and I was welcomed when I walked in the door.
I just love coming into this place! The decor fits the name perfectly. I love how they have a bunkhouse sign up towards the back, a fire ax hanging on the wall, some fireman boots and hose..It really just ties everything in.
This place has some amazingly tasty subs. We have been here quite a few times, and have always loved our food. A wide variety of chips for your side. Coca-Cola freestyle machine available for your soda and unlimited refills.
The service is nice. They are very polite and they keep the establishment very clean.
Will definitely be back!

Good for kids with kids’ menu, high chairs, and infant changing table in the restroom.

The manager , I think he said his name was Charles, was amazing. The app is NOT user friendly and ate a promo code I earned and the manager instantly took care of it. Most places make you argue and fight and have to contact the corporate office but this was SO easy! Not to Mention kind and welcoming. I will definitely make Firehouse Subs a regular stop!

Came in to try the beer cheese steak sandwich. By itself, it was not that great as it was pretty flavorless and there was very little of it in my sandwich. If i was just rating the sandwich, i would give it one star.
This lkcation, however, was large, clean, and the staff were nice and on the ball. Our sandwiches were delivered to oud table in a reasonable time. Their hot sauce selection was nice. Overall, the location made the visit.

Firehouse Subs in Washington County Pennsylvania is the best sub shop I have ate at. The service was great and the store was clean. If you’re in the area, I strongly suggest you stop by and grab some food.

For chain subs establishments, Firehouse is the better of the bunch. Tasty and comes out warmed. Sides are a bit lame and I wish they used a higher quality cold cut. And with a combo, you’re easily over $10, which is a bit much for a quick lunch. Staff is friendly and tables are clean, even when busy. But not a bad choice.

Do not order for delivery. They don’t monitor there food. Anyone can go to the shelf and steal or touch whatever they want. And your responsible to pay for there stolen food. There response is once it’s on the shelf there not responsible for it. And will absolutely not remake it. I beg to differ it’s still in your resturant. Your allowing your customers to get ripped off. Firehouse Subs is usually top notch. This location is horrible. We ordered takeout so didn’t notice the issues until we got home. We ordered 4 subs, pickles on the side, and Chilli. We received 3 subs no pickles and no Chilli. The order was around $75 total, so that’s a loss of around $25. Nothing we can do about, they will never reimburse us or make it right.

On Sunday June 29th, mid-afternoon, I visited this Washington Pa location. There was one couple dining in. There were 3 employees visible and an additional one (Jose) entered and shortly afterwards began to work behind the counter as well. I placed my order immediately ( Hook and Ladder) with a bigger guy while 2 younger females worked behind the counter. I clearly specified I wanted a Hook and Ladder on wheat bread. I paid and then waited…for approximately 15 minutes. I thought this seemed lengthy since there were no other customers but thought that maybe they were working on call-in or catering orders. The younger females continued their work while big guy walks around in the back not seeming to do anything productive.
After finally receiving my sandwich I went to my car and unwrapped it only to find it was a completely wrong sandwich and on the wrong bread. I wrapped it back up and took it back in and gave it to the big guy who took the order. He told me I ordered an Italian and I told him that I had ordered the Hook and Ladder and I ordered it on wheat bread – and the sandwich I returned was not even an Italian, it was a turkey sandwich on white bread. He responded with sarcasm and complete unprofessionalism, suggesting it was my fault, that I was the reason why the order was wrong. Somewhat surprised at his response, I then just asked for a refund. He continued to mumble his discontent about my returning the sandwich and then assigned one of the females to issue me a refund. She tried but wasn’t able and quickly rushed out the back of the store, big guy went out of sight. the younger female returned within just a couple minutes with another slightly older female who acted much more professional, quickly began the refund and told me the younger female was building me another correct sandwich. All of this was happening while the bigger guy was now restlessly pacing around the back, seemingly irritated at the whole event. I thought it may be helpful to those in charge to know about this whole experience because not only was it uncomfortable and inexcusable, you have an employee that is clearly unprofessional and uncaring to give good customer service that probably needs to be reprimanded and would benefit from some customer satisfaction training. On the other hand, you have a few others that handled the situation much better and deserve recognition. I’m sorry to say that I probably would not recommend this location based on this one time experience. I Wish you well.
