I ordered ahead using the mobile app and picked up my food, so I didn’t have much interaction with the staff. I ordered 2 of the Hook and Ladder subs. My main concern was with both of the sandwiches. The bread was undercooked and doughy, and there was far too much mayo and veggies compared to a very small amount of meat. The subs were, both, supposed to come with melted Monterey jack cheese and neither had cheese. Please see photos below. For the price, it was disappointing to get sandwiches that we did not enjoy and had to throw most of out. I hope the store can focus more on better quality control. Overall, a bad experience, and we will probably not be spending our money here again when there are so many other options in the Forney area.

$10.99 for a salad and you get less than an ounce of dressing. Asked for another container and the wanted $.50. This was after they didn’t give me the dressing on my previous order. When I called to let them know the manager told me they’d take care of me next time. I let them know what the manager told me last time they shorted me and they still said it would be $.50. Submitted a complaint and requested to be contacted and never heard a word. Contacted the main Firehouse office and they told me they escalated the complaint and contacted the Forney location and still not a word.

Amazing. As always. Idk how they do it but it’s like nirvana in my mouth with every bite. I want firehouse subs to be my last meal. It’s sweet it’s tangy the texture is perfect and it makes me feel nostalgic and releases all the feel good hormones. 100/10 my favorite place.

A small sandwich is $6.29 and really REALLY small. I wasn’t prepared (see photo). My pocket knife is 3” long.
How can a sandwich be 3” long? I finished the sandwich with 4 normal bites. There’s too much competition around here to spend over $10 bucks for 3” sandwich, drink, chips.
Sell it as appetizer so my expectations are aligned.
I’m heading to Buffalo Wild Wings (right next door) to have my 2nd dinner.

This place started out great and quickly went down hill!! Not happy at all with my recent order, the chili was less than half full. Actually I’ve noticed that they really skimp on all of the portions, which is crazy considering how expensive this place is. The attached pictures show how much chili that was in this cup before I even took a spoonfull. Just shameful.

Ordered in the store and paid cash. The employee handled the cash WITH gloves on and then he immediately went to the deli meats and started handling food without changing gloves. Really gross to know that they’re handling money and then food. Won’t be coming back here anytime soon.

Ordered the hook & ladder salad with banana peppers. First time ordering from this location and will definitely come again. The salad was better than I had remembered. Wish I had taken a photo before I dived in because it looked like a beautiful picture. The salad is fresh, absolutely delicious, and filling. Kudos to the team at Forney Firehouse Subs!
