I tried the thanksgiving sub and when I got it to eat in, the wad of turkey on the sandwich was frozen. I brought it back to the pickup window and they happily remade it. The sandwich was good and I paid extra for gravy which is a small amount not enough for the medium sized sandwich. The stuffing was moister than I suspected. I ordered the sandwich on wheat bread. I’d recommend it.

I’m not sure how this is even still happening today in 2026 but my partner went in the facility to just order chips and cookies before heading back home and the cashiers were so unprofessional. We had $100 cash on us at the time and we just simply asked would they have change or is it too large of a bill to break. One of the employees looked at us made a face and rolled his eyes. He turned around ask one of the other employees and the energy shifted instantly. We asked the same question again to the young lady since obviously the guy wasnt going to help and she turned to him and said him something. They both made the same gesture and walked away. So the young lady comes back greets us like we were new customers not realizing we were still waiting. I guess she thought we left? We asked are we still able to check out? Young lady asked well…how are we paying? We asked the SAME question. I just said forget it we will go get our card and put it on my apple pay. You know how much time was wasted? The attitude was so unnecessary and the unprofessionalism should NOT be accepted. I will be calling the manager. I dont understand how you dont know if you can make change for a transaction or not? I know we are using electronic payments more in this time but come on you can still communicate professionally. Manager should explain protocol of bigger bills to employees or know how to use a marker to check for the bills or something. Just wow!

We went specifically to get the Thanksgiving turkey sub, we’ve already been to one store and they were out of cranberry we went to this store and he told us it had been discontinued. So we didn’t get the sandwich we wanted which did not make my wife happy at all, she had to settle for something else. But the sandwiches we got were both good just not what we had gone there with our mouths set on the staff was helpful but look like they were having quite the rush somehow while we were the only ones in the store. So I don’t know what that was all about. We would return to this store

We moved from Texas 9 months ago and have had terrible experience with fast food until today. We visited this Forehouse location and spoke with Jay. His energy was welcoming, professional, and kind. He told me he’s a new manager. Y’all made a great choice in promoting this man and other managers should take notes. Makes you feel like a good friend you’re just meeting up for lunch. Best firehouse subs experience I’ve had in Louisiana! And the drive thru is just an added bonus! My sub was actually made with care..with even amounts of meat etc across the sandwich! Will definitely be returning and recommending this location!

I was looking forward to my first visit to Firehouse Subs in Kenner, La today, but was sorely let down by the food being misrepresented. I’m a HUGE Philly cheesesteak person, and I try them all over. Although all of the individual ingredients were good, they were not what I asked for. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak and got a roast beef sandwich disguised as a Philly cheesesteak. I HATE roast beef sandwiches, so you can guess what my response to this sandwich was. I am so disappointed. It looked so delicious and had good bread, cheese, jalapeños, etc. The store is clean and beautiful, and the service is great. I just wish I had gotten what I was asking for. I will not be returning. I was hoping to like this place so I can get a good cheesesteak closer to my house, but no such luck. Oh well, I tried.

Only have used the drive through here so can’t speak on atmosphere inside. Just about every time I go someone different comes to window to serve me. Every one of them has been nice. Been stuck on the steak & cheese sandwiches from there. LOL Food is very good. Always fresh too.
