Took my family to Firehouse Subs for lunch and had an awesome experience. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was warm and inviting and the food was delicious! I got the veggie build your own with a side of loaded potato soup and it was the perfect lunch. You have to try the garlic bread for the sandwich! They have a mix and match soda station with sugar free options and a hot sauce bar! So cool and so hot!

I love the concept of Firehouse Subs and love the subs even more. I’m addicted to the hook & ladder drenched in Chaluhla sauce from their “sauce bar”. Staff is always friendly. Bread is always fresh, meats and veggies too. If I chose a franchise to own, it wouldn’t be Taco Bell, Burger King, or McD’s…d do Firehouse Subs!!

Our sandwichs were good. An employee helped me bring the food to the table for 3 people. The dining area and restrooms were clean. For a medium sandwich with a drink be prepared to pay over $15 per person after tax. I would like to eat here more often, but it’s just not affordable for our family when we can buy all the ingredients from the grocery store to build our own meal at home for significantly less.

Have not been to this location since Covid and them removing the hot sauce bar, but when I saw online that it had returned I decided to come in for one of the hot subs I so fondly remembered. When I walked in I was not greeted at all while the store was nearly empty, maybe 2 or 3 people inside. I waited at the counter for about 5 minutes before this woman with a nose piercing begrudgingly took my order. Giving a crap was not on her list of things to do today, at all. After my order was placed her and some dude with unkept facial hair and a pony tail took their sweet time assembling orders. When my order was ready they barely called out my name, I was just lucky enough to be looking up at the counter when they did because I would not have heard them otherwise. The sandwiches were poorly put together and placed in to-go containers despite me saying I was dining in. Overall the experience was nothing like it used to be. The atmosphere was depressing, and the people who work there look as if they hate it. Its really sad to see how far this place has fallen over the years only to become a second rate Subway with hot sauces. After this experience I will never return to the Tyler location, even if I was given free food for a year. Finally, based on other reviews I read, the woman’s restroom door lock has been broken for at least 7 months, what are these people even doing?

Absolutely worst time I’ve ever had. Both mine and my girls sandwiches were wrong, hers no cheese, mine no bacon. And no one cared at all. No one asked if they could fix it, no one asked if everything was ok. They couldn’t have cared any less if we weren’t there. After driving an hour to eat here, because it’s the only one close, and my favorite place, so disappointed. Will never be back to this location

This was always our go to place while in Tyler until recently. We like what Firehouse stands for & often wondered why our town (Longview) doesn’t have one. We love their Thanksgiving sub, that is a seasonal sandwich. We took our 90 year old mother there because she heard us talking about this wonderful sub. We were told it would be 45 mins before they could make them. There was a volleyball team there & they had 20 other sandwiches to make. Out of the 4 employees (what they typically have) working, you would think one employee could take care of the REGULAR customers. Many people walked out because of the wait. I can’t imagine the business they lost that day. We left & returned an hour later, only to be told they were out of the Thanksgiving sub.
Also the ladies restroom door had a sign posted on it that said, “Door Doesn’t Lock.”
Fast forward 2 weeks later, we returned. Restroom this time was “OUT OF ORDER,” Dr. Pepper was out & we were told they would refill it. We ate our sandwich & still no Dr. Pepper. Was told that the manager had left to run out & get more syrup. We have noticed over time that the workers do not seem to care about customer service anymore. Needless to say we will not be back & choose to spend our money somewhere else.

Well my first impression of Firehouse subs is deplorable. What horrible customer service. I get it, work sucks especially when short staffed. But that’s what I do daily too. Except I don’t think customers are an inconvenience and I certainly don’t act that way. That girl with the glasses needs to adjust her attitude cuz that’s unacceptable behavior. Will not be back

First time ever coming to a Firehouse Subs, and I was thoroughly disappointed. Service was curt and half baked, especially from the septum pierced employee, my wife’s sandwich was made incorrectly, and the bowl of Mac and cheese was somehow lukewarm and steaming (the steam was likely a paid actor). Both employees exuded an unwelcoming atmosphere and we left as soon as we could. I can see why they weren’t busy on a Saturday night.

I ordered sliced turkey which was the sandwich of the month, it was served chopped and very soggy. It was clean and well staffed but price are off the chart! It’s not worth the outrages prices.

Firehouse Subs, Taylor & her team have been so generous & helpful to sponsor the Rose Capital East Little League Sulphur Springs Lions team by donating pickle buckets to hold our gear during games.

Thank you so much! We can’t wait to visit for a meatball & Italian sub soon as well. Soooo good!
