I’ve had good experiences at this firehouse sub shop before, but tonight was a complete disaster. I ordered two engineer sub meals, and as usual, I asked for sautéed mushrooms and onions. When I paid, the female cashier informed me that the big cups were at the end of the counter because she didn’t have any at the cash register. I waited patiently, but a family of three was already at the fountain drink dispenser. The father asked why most of the drink options were grayed out, and the male cashier told him that the machine was out of those choices. The father then inquired if there was a way to change the sodas in the machine, but the cashier rudely and sarcastically denied his request.
I waited even longer until people behind me were finally getting their food. I overheard the three staff members behind the counter mumbling about being out of mushrooms, which I assumed they would get from the back. When I finally received my food, I was disappointed to find that there were no mushrooms and the onions were raw. I was so excited to sit down and eat, but instead, I was left with a sub that was completely devoid of the ingredients I had ordered and shocked at the attitude of staff.
I hope the owner of this store cares about his business and takes action to address the poor service provided by his staff. The villagers deserve better than this.

I had a wonderful experience at Firehouse Subs yesterday! The workers, Bre and Jay, were incredibly accommodating when I asked them to be careful with my food allergies. They were not only helpful but also super friendly and down-to-earth. The subs were yummy too! I can’t wait to go back.

Love firehouse subs! However, Saturday the 10th at 12:40 came to this franchise and was greeted by young man behind counter, and a young child at a table with book and stuffed animal. After taking our order the child proceeded back into the food prep area at which time I mentioned that children shouldn’t be where food is prepared, he acknowledged my comment. As we waited for the sandwiches to be prepared he, the employee, advised he was waiting on the meat to be cut in this same area as the child went. Within a few minutes another younger child came running out from same food prep area. Then the manager came out asked about my comments, then proceeded to 1) berate me 2) advise that these are the owners kids and as such they can go anywhere and often they assist in food prep 3) mind my own business and don’t stick my nose in other people’s business 4) she continued to behave badly even after my attempts to calm her down. These elem school age kids were there at least 25 minutes, in and out of food prep, then came out getting into the chip stand. This isn’t the first time as per previous review. Manager has anger issues, needs retraining in customer conflict and Florida health codes. Villages need a healthy Firehouse. This requires a complaint to health department.

On Valentines day (Feb 14th) I went to Firehouse subs for the first and last time. There were 3 employees that I could see and and the one thin girl with brown hair in a pony tail was extremely unhelpful. I think if she had been doing her job, I would have enjoyed my Firehouse sub. The 2 other employees a young man and a nice heavier girl were nice.

By far the best meatball subs around. They make it special. They toast it a little bit without the cheese. Then they out sliced your choice thick like to on top and I mean on top when it comes out you see cheeeese and bread. Under that super goodness is nice gold ball sized (if not maybe a little bigger ) meatballs that taste like my Nana Rose Leone, Nana Rose (RIP) love her to death and beyond. Anyway if you see a firehouse subs stop in and try any one of there magical subs especially that cheesy meatball one, to die for…… Ooo Btw the pricetag for one of those is under $15 right around $10 ish, that can’t be beat unless you hit the place over there you know cousin subbys place down there over there ya know.

Ordered online at 1:20, it said the sandwiches would be ready at 1:36. Stood there until 2:00!
Not even busy. The ladies working there all had mad looks on their faces.
Sat in parking lot to eat as didn’t feel comfortable eating inside. My husband’s sandwich was fine, mine was dripping and soaked soggy bread, SAME sandwich.
Very disappointed.

Went in with my husband and he ordered a large steak and cheese add jalapeño mushrooms black olives and yellow mustard no deli mustard and no onions. There were NO mushrooms and thre was hardly any of the other stuff along with a scarce amount of meat because they ran out. Then Noah offered to substitute another medium sandwich in its place. Ok that was fine.
I ordered the hook and ladder with no may no deli mustard add yellow mustard. The sandwich had no lettuce no onion no tomatoes and no cheese. When calling the store I asked to speak with a manager she said ahe was her name was Christa. I explained the situation to her and she wanted to argue with me telling me that there was no way that happened. Speaking over me and trying to ask the other people there and no listening to me. She finally said well come back up here and we will remake them. We’ll 30 minutes away was a bit to much so she says we’ll what do you want me to do then. Not sure where this was foung so instead of getting more upset I said When I come back in I want rhe sandwiches either remade or refunded.

I love the Beef Brisket! but they were out of brisket on my last visit. No worries, all of FH subs are delicious. There’s also a fully shaded outdoor seating. The manager is kind. She gave my companion a free water. So much love.

Firehouse Subs – I will compare them to the other big sub chain, Subway. I believe the quality here is better than Subway. The rolls are definitely better. They have soup on their menu as well, which was very good. This shop had more tables and a better atmosphere than subway as well. The food, my husband had the meatball sub which was good and was parmed and then baked. I had the veggie which was okay. The ordering is a bit labored as you have to start at what they list and start deleting what you do not want into their computer system instead of just saying yes or no to the employee as they make it . This takes much too much time so Subways system is better. Even after it was delivered to our table an adjustment had to be made. And the soup took a bit to get there after that. Soto conclude, the food is better, ordering system not so good unless you get it ‘their way’. The restaurant itself has handicap accessible parking, entrance and restroom. It was clean and the staff was pleasant and welcomed you on entering and wished a good day upon leaving.

Second time this month I have been to this location and the staff obviously brings their children to work with them. Both times the children are running around, in and out of the kitchen area. This time the kid threw a marker at me as I walked through the door then was obviously sick and coughing all over the restaurant and directly on the chips that were on the shelf. Then the employee which appeared to possibly be the manager and mother of the child ask me for my order then proceeded to cough everywhere her self. Leave your children in a more appropriate environment, not in a restaurant and if you’re sick, GO HOME! I’ll be reaching out to the health board and corporate. This is unacceptable and dangerous for the child.
