*Update- The next day I was personally called by the owner. We had a long conversation regarding the interaction. I feel the appropriate action was taken in a timely manner to correct any issues. To be very clear, we love Firehouse and this one interaction will not keep us from returning.
My husband and I visited for lunch. I wanted to try their new fries so we ordered (12:06) and sat down. We got our sandwiches, but there seemed to be issues with the fry maker. The cashier apologized and offered a refund or chips or cookie to replace. As I got my receipt the manager stated it was working (12:15 ish). So we waited for the fries to be done, I went back to the counter (12:25 ish) to ask for the fries to be put in a Togo container. The cashier again apologized for the wait and shared the machine was still having issues. The manager that was working on the machine said in a very rude manner “the machine is working and they will be out in a minute” to which I replied “I wasnt being rude about it” she then looked at me and said “I dont have an attitude, you asked about the fries and they are almost done” I calmly repeated what I said that I wasnt being rude and I only asked for the fries to go. She then changed her attitude saying how expensive the machine was and she could not afford to get a new one. I empathize with her frustration and she stated she would give us coupons for our delay. We waited the remaining 3-5 min (12:30 ish) when the fries were kindly brought to our table by a nice young man and before leaving I stopped at the counter to ask the nice cashier for a small bag for the fry container. The manager was still working on the machine and rolled her eyes but never gave us the coupons. I am sure she was frustrated but dont take it out on your customers and do what you say you’re going to do. Just a fair warning the manager is not as nice as the employees.

My husband went in and ordered 3 subs and he hadn’t paid for them yet. He asked if he could make 1 of them a larger size. The girl up front told him no, once the order had already gone back he can’t change it. He literally just ordered it and haven’t even given her the card yet to pay for it. I told him to just forget it and just leave since upsizing a sandwich was such a tremendous task. Like there was a robot and not a actual person making the sandwich or something. Made no sense!

General manager was awesome very kind and respectful. Food was great right temperature crew in the back was good to me. Call my name very clean place. I will recommend this to anybody else. I know it’s hard to find this place. I wish they put out more billboards.

People here do not seem to like their job, their life, or you for being there. Ordered 2 sandwiches, both drowning in mayonnaise, and I didn’t ask for extra mayo. The steamer wasn’t steamed, and the smoked stack house was mostly off the roll. For over $30 this is very disappointing.

The sandwiches are always good but the last 2 times I ordered a salad which is supposed to have romaine lettuce they use iceberg lettuce. And I requested bacon bits & paid extra for it & no bacon bits on my salad. Why can the other Firehouse Subs in our area use romaine lettuce which is better for you and this one does not.

Today was bad customer service, got home to the wrong sub, repeated on the phone my order. Called the store young ladies said they will make it over. Went back yo there and they gave my husband a hard time about making a small sub over. The young ladies were very rude. Just our experience at this location.

Usually go to Sparklerry Firehouse Subs usually good, today got 3 subs, one sub was soaking wet in oil & vinegar couldn’t eat. Other sub the meat tasted bad! 2 subs thrown away!! Not willing to try go there again pay good money and tip when this happens!
