I went to Firehouse Subs for the first time and was really impressed. I ordered the Hook and Ladder and it was delicious. The whole sandwich was toasted, not just the bread, and I really liked that. It gave everything a warm, melty texture that made it stand out.

They also have a hot sauce bar, which is a fun touch. I tried the Sizzlin Scorpion sauce with my sandwich and it was a great combo.

The atmosphere was also memorable. The place is designed to look like a firehouse, which makes sense since it was founded by firefighters. I also appreciated learning that they donated nearly 1.5 million dollars to life saving gear earlier this year. The brick walls and firefighter decor give it a warm and welcoming feel. Definitely worth checking out.

Never go here! Thought we were lucky to find the place almost empty at 1130 on a weekday. I now realize the locals just know this place is terrible.

Spent almost $30 on a single sandwich and salad to go. No one else in line placing orders. Waited 15 minutes, just to find sandwich made wrong when we got back to hotel! No napkins in the bag. Salad dressing ridiculously small.

We’ll never go here again. Due to price vs value, we may write off Firehouse Subs altogether

Edit: seeing the AI – generated response just adds insult to injury! How low-effort can you get? Obviously management here doesn’t care about the customer experience. Jeez, you already ripped me off, don’t insult my intelligence by thinking you can placate me with such a lame effort.

First time in a firehouse sub restaraunt, great sandwiches and they actually have a gluten free bread option that tastes good! Super friendly staff, great little sandwich place. Will definitely be back!

I have always enjoyed supporting firehouse subs. The subs are great and usually are worth extra cost and the long wait for your order. But today was a day that has made me unsure I will ever return. We have only ever had minor issues with orders. Today my husband was halfway through his sub and his bite had a very long hair. Completely turned off from eating I called firehouse. I was told to come back and they will remake or refund. I had to bring the sub with, with the hair as proof. We are about 15 minutes from them. I had picked up the food after an exhausting day of work went home to eat home and then was going to a second job. So I had to go back after we ate with the hair sub on my way to second job. Was told they would at first refund half because he ate half. Sorry he found the hairway through eating. So then worker checked with the owner who instead of refunding anything said they would only remake half the sandwich. This is terribly frustrating policy for fast food. Basically if you are taking food to go be prepared to drive back with issues and they will only remake. I could understand remaking if this was a sit down restaurant but for fast food you often driving from one place to another that’s why you grab to go. Going back to remake after everyone is already done eating and or you live opposite side of town is not customer friendly. When I went inside to ask for the refund I also noted that it appeared no one on the cook line wore hairnets which explains why hair was in my food. So this has tipped me in the most likely never to return. Which makes me sad as truly I enjoy the food more than other sub places and wait the 10 plus minutes for my food everytime. But not being given a refund for food with hair is completely unacceptable.

Not only was the food great, but I asked those preparing the sandwiches to please be cautious because my wife just had a BMT and didn’t have an immune system. They were so gracious and even went above and beyond expectation even cooking the meat twice which obviously took more time. She even thanked me for telling her. In a world where good customer service is hard to come by, I was shocked at the response. Highly recommend

I went through the drive thru this evening and was the only car in the line, no customers in the store. It took 15 minutes to receive two sandwiches. We live about 5 mins from the store and by the time we got home, hot sandwiches were already ice cold. To top it off, we found a long hair inside one of the sandwiches. Not surprising as the only two people working (as far as I could tell) were both without hairnets or hats which is against food safety regulations. Never ever coming back.

Our food was delicious, special instructions were followed, and the order was ready on time. Love the gluten free bread option. This is the only place in town I will order a sub from.

This ain’t Jersey Mike’s. If they suggest to toast, do it. The bread (I had wheat) is terrible cold and I’m only assuming it is better toasted. Veggie(cheese) sub had like four slices of cheese—come on, really?? I ended up eating without the bread. Overall very disappointed.
