Ordered my usual steak and cheese sub which was fine. They actually got the order right this time when I say no mayo. Also ordered my wife’s favorite club on a sub. She said it was good, but that evening she was ill. For the next 24 hours she has all the symptoms of food poisoning. Vomiting, diarrhea, severe fatigue and muscle pain.
Very slow recovery! Wonder how many others were affected after eating their food.
Was the food handled properly? Was it old?
Whatever caused this needs to take care of this problem. I am tempted to call the health department

Sandwich was fine. I’m irritated cause it wouldn’t let me pay with a card unless I tipped. I selected no tip and it cancelled. I like to tip AFTER I receive my food. For this I will never go here again.

Noticed they had left a side out of my order, so I went on line to complete the survey.
WHAT… A….HORRIFIC & COMPLICATED….EXPERIENCE !!!!!
They wanted me to put in the store’s location. I spent the better part of 45 minutes….TRYING….to find that info!!!!
I scrolled through OVER…100…LOCATIONS,
and COULD NOT….EVEN FIND WAYNESVILLE !!!!!! Since this wasn’t filled in….I COULD NOT EVEN CONTINUE !!!!!
I then went on line to find the main headquarters. I tried to leave a message, asking for help with this…..BUT….ALL..I..
COULD….GET WAS A l……& EVEN THAT MALFUNCTIONED!!!!
I have ordered quite a bit from Firehouse Subs….AND ….MOST ALWAYS….LEAVE A TIP !!!!

Ordered and THOROUGHLY ENJOYED the Smokehouse BBQ (Carolina Style) sandwich. Absolutely delicious! The combination of meats, Cole slaw (with their Jamaican dressing) was perfect! I will definitely order this one again!

I’d like to give a HUGE thank you shout-out to Mackenzie, the manager of y’alls Waynesville North Carolina location. Stopped in to grab lunch today because I’d just received a new coupon in my email..long story short, it ended up not working on the site to redeem, then finally gave me an error and wouldn’t work at all after multiple attempts (that she and another co-worker both witnessed lol.) She went ahead and figured out another way to do the discount for me, without any questions whatsoever!
I just wanted to make sure she gets some sort of recognition for that, since most places wouldn’t go the extra mile to do anything nice for people these days.
As a long time server & bartender, knowing exactly how the hospitality industry works, those small things are appreciated more than anything.
The food was delishhhh today as well.. we’ll be back soon, thank you again Mackenzie!

I had not been to Firehouse for quite some time. I was at Ingles so decided to treat us for dinner. Never disappointed; it was SO GOOD just as I remembered! Very nice staff!!

Waiting on my sub and watch an email pushing trash cans around then goes and starts preparing food with the same gloves on. I call them out on it and ask for a refund but then can’t give me a refund and reassure me they are very clean there. What a trash place and thieves at that!!!

I am giving two stars simply cause one seems so mean, although probably appropriate. The wait was long, I was there just over 18 minutes waiting on two sandwiches. This shocked me. I don’t wait this long for my togo order at the scotsmen Where they require you to order your to go food in person. Anyway, I really didn’t mind the wait I figured the sandwiches would be fine and fresh so who cares. I got in the car and took a. bite of mine before I started the drive home and it’s not cold but it’s not warm. I was shocked by this because so assume they would have Let me meatballs and some sort of hot holding or simple warm them up to order. I have no idea what their procedure is but for it to feel not hot or cold it should be about 96-98 degrees which is far to cold for food. Either it was not stored properly or not heated properly. Either way, not acceptable…especially for a $30 meal for two. Really I would just avoid this place. I loved the firehouse subs in Apex NC And did not mind this location when I went the week of their opening. Service was very slow then as well, but I assumed they were working out kinks and getting adjusted. The food at that trip was decent unlike this visit-Things should only have improved instead it seems the food has taken a severe turn for the worst. How sad as we needed another quick food option but this is not quick and it’s not food worth eating even if it was free…but in reality its a $15 sandwich.
