What you are saving in labor costs in the short term can really cost you in the long term. When I walked in, there were about 3 other patrons, already served and eating. No one in line. The cashier had her back to me. When I approached the cash register to make my order, she slowly turns and looks me up and down. So sorry to interrupt you super important conversation, miss ma’am, but yes, I came here for food. She looks me up and down and it takes her about 15 seconds to say hello, all while making eye contact. Okaaaaay. So I order my sub. The ask my name, I both say and spell it for them. They spelled it wrong. Is that petty to point out? No. I spelled it for you. You just showed me you aren’t very good at listening. I take a seat and wait for my food. The floors are filthy, by the way. 5 minutes goes by. 10 minutes. At this point, I get up, because what is taking so long. I think the girl making my sub was new, which is fine. But there are 5 workers. A guy comes in to complain about a missing mobile order and they all freeze and start looking for his order. Hello? I’m pretty sure I’m waiting on a sandwich here! I have to get back to where I came from. I snuck out to get food. This place is pretty empty, which is why I stopped in. It shouldn’t be taking this long. I finally get my food, which is to-go, in a carton. No bag? No napkins? Mind you, this is my first (and last) time in there, so I have no clue if this is normal, but I’m pretty sure to-go mobile orders aren’t handed out that way. Overall, a terrible experience. In 2025 with the state of the economy and the fact that less and less people are eating out, you might want to train your staff better or at least have a supervisor who ISN’T a teenager. You’re entire staff cannot be made of teens, weekend or not.

I ordered the veggie sub, got home and it had no mushrooms on it. The ingredients list for the sandwich says savory mushrooms. I called the store and requested another sandwich to be made. When I came back in, the employees rolled their eyes, slapped my new sandwich together and slammed it on the counter top. The lady who had ordered before me was waiting for her stuff, and looked surprised and annoyed that they had skipped hers to throw mine on the counter. Needless to say, the sandwich was again lacking in mushrooms, had only one piece of cheese on it (it says 3 cheeses on the menu), and it looked like it had been run over. I will not be coming back here!!! Just a side note, I was very polite when I called as well as when I came back to the store. The employees’ attitudes were way out of line. They should look for another job that doesn’t involve customer service. What you see is a bunch of sauteed onions and peppers, and ONE lonely mushroom!!!

I ordered off the create your own menu. I ordered the 12” ham on whole wheat bread. The sandwich was really great, but the whole wheat bread didn’t hold up. It was mushy by the time I reached the end of my sandwich. So, next time I would try the white bread.

Otherwise, all was perfect. The store is clean and well kept. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Olympic Games on the big screen while eating my lunch.

My family & I recently stopped by Firehouse Subs in St George for the first time. I LOVED the design & aesthetic to the place- with all the red & white, brick & firehouse decor! Super cute touches everywhere to make the whole design cohesive. As for the service, it was excellent. Friendly employees took care of us & our hunger needs! We all loved our sandwiches & also loved that Firehouse Subs gives back to the community by donating “Lifesaving Equipment” to Utah Public Safety Organizations. We will be back again & recommend you give them a try today!

Received rotten piece of lettuce and a dehydrated thin pickle that should never have been served. Showed staff to prevent someone else from getting the same. They didn’t seem very interested. Very dissatisfied and disappointed!

About 10 years ago I went to firehouse subs. They advised a free drink for firefighters. When I ordered my sub I asked for my free drink and showed them my firefighters ID. They said I needed to be in uniform to receive it free. I paid and I’ve never been back since. Too bad one drink cost them a customer for life.

Went there yesterday, store was gross , dirty several employees but no one cleaning up the trash everywhere! Garbage over flowing in all areas. Tables , floors dirty! Wouldn’t dare order a drink soda machine was dirty with splatter everywhere. The to go shelf where they put out to go orders to be picked up had food to be picked up with the bags having greasy smears from dirty gloves when they where put out. Food was mediocre at best. With the state of the restaurant we were worried that it wasn’t safe to eat !

Great Sandwiches loved the Italian and Hook& Ladder. Could use some cleaning. They had a bunch of teenage boys working and all they did was clown around. Very disappointed in the service.

I love Firehouse Subs but today was exceptional. Not only did my online order only take about 5 min to make but I was able to run inside and request my sandwich be cut into thirds. I also asked Riley if I could pay for some extra pickles because my daughter is really sick and she wanted “Five pickles for lunch”. He said there was no extra charge for pickles and definitely came through. Great service today. Thank you so much!

My wife and I bought meatball subs from here last weekend and it was pretty gross. The meatball was burnt and dry, the was blackened and didn’t taste good at all. Strongly advise looking at your subs before leaving the restaurant
