Firehouse is one of my favorite sandwich chains. I came here and it was a good experience like always. The restaurant was very clean and the service was friendly, although it look a little long to make our subs.
The subs are great! It as good temperature, flavor, and bread. I had the New York Steamer and everyone else in my party enjoyed their subs too. Overall, this is a great place and I recommend this.

I am writing to share my recent experience at your restaurant on 12/09/25 regarding my order of two sandwiches.
Upon returning home, my daughter discovered a blonde hair in her sandwich. We immediately called the restaurant to inform the staff about this issue, and my son spoke with Cierra the manager on duty. Unfortunately, we were told that we would have to purchase a replacement sandwich, as per the general manager’s policy.
I attempted to speak with the general manager, Beth, but was informed “She does not want to speak with you’ To make matters worse, Cierra changed the narrative, claiming our complaint was about my daughter not liking the sandwich rather than the hygiene issue we faced.
This experience has left us quite disappointed, and I feel compelled to express my concerns regarding food safety and customer service standards at your establishment. I believe that situations like this should be handled with care and should prioritize the customer’s health and satisfaction. I’ve added a picture of the actual sandwich that we returned to the Restaurant. I feel as though I was treated as I was trying to steal their $15 sandwich.
This will be my last time, patronizing firehouse subs.

Sadly enough I came into the shop and ordered a turkey bacon ranch. If you want to check the cameras and play them back. Instead I was told I ordered the sub they made and the young woman decided to accuse and argue and tell me what I ordered…… then the scared employee that took my order tucked tail and lied about it as well or maybe he forgot. If you want my honest opinion he seemed petrified of her and stuttered his way into the mishap he made. Literally got nasty with me and was argumentive and told me what I ordered, instead of fixing their mistake. The over the top female worker and her tone should be reprimanded at least. Once again check the cameras im sure you have them. I won’t be back unless I have some sort of an apology. Plenty of sub shops in Plant City. In fact I just came here because my cousin likes it. It is my least visited sandwich shop. Jersey Mike’s and Pot Belly you dont get treated like youre some kind of liar. Unreal tbh.

I had a terrible experience here as Cierra/Ciara, which ever way she spells it, left a little surprise in my sandwich. I bit into my sandwich and come to my surprise there was a long strand of blonde hair, similar to Cierra’s. Cierra who was not wearing a hair net informed me that her manager Beth was not going to refund or make a new sandwich and instead I would have to purchase a whole new sandwich if I wanted one. Customer service at this establishment needs some serious work. The sandwich and strand of hair were both returned to Cierra. It’s crazy to lie and state that I simply didn’t like the sandwich when it was made clear there was hair in the food, and it’s even crazier that I would have to purchase a whole new sandwich for hair being in the one I already purchased. The attitude of Beth and Cierra was unacceptable and far away from professional. The lack of food safety is astonishing, hopefully staff will take the time to learn the importance of food safety and practice it. Cierra and Beth failed to understand that finding hair in your food is disgusting and deserves some correction.

Went to pick up my mobile order to later find out after my girlfriend took her first bite of our sandwich that there was a long blonde hair in it. I called letting firehouse know there was a hair in our sandwich and we would like another one made to which then I was put on hold for about 5 minutes. When they got back to me they said they spoke to their general manager who told them there was nothing that could be done. I went up there and proceeded to speak to Sierra (or Cierra Idk how she spells her name) who was laughing in my face and on the phone with her general manager, Beth. Beth was 0 help and was yelling through the phone telling me to “calm down! Calm down!” Eventually I got a refund but I mean what awful and sorry customer service. Sierra wasn’t wearing a hair net and showed no remorse. This firehouse in plant city is a joke. Don’t eat there unless you like hair in your food, or worse.

To the lady on the line who overheard my husband place my order and worked absolute MAGIC, thank you. I wish I knew your name. Per my request, my husband asked for a crazy amount of mushrooms to be added to my steak and cheese sandwich. He told the gentleman taking the order that his wife was very pregnant (I am, at 37 weeks) and needed ALL of the mushrooms. Most of the time, it’s just a few scattered mushrooms anytime I’ve asked anywhere else, which is honestly what I expected. This wonderful lady who made my sandwich DELIVERED. She ever so thoufhtfully listened and generously obliged and I cannot thank her enough. Here’s why – this is my 4th and last baby and the hardest pregnancy I’ve had by far. I was diagnosed early on with Hyperemesis Gravidarum, which is INSANE nausea (and the bodily functions that accompany it) throughout the duration of my pregnancy – not just the first trimester like most women. It’s been the longest, hardest thing I’ve ever done. I’ve been hospitalized, dehydrated, and barely making it through. With that, I’ve had NO pregnancy cravings. I was robbed of that joy this time around. I’ve only had aversions this whole time and then just foods I could tolerate, usually meal replacement shakes. For whatever reason today, I wanted this sandwich with those mushrooms and I was so hopeful it was done right. It was done PERFECTLY. And then she gave me extra pickle spears! And the pickles here are my favorite pickles of all the sub shops! Ma’am – I wish I knew your name. I hope you get to read this and know it’s you that made the end of this journey a bit more bearable for me. I’m actually looking forward to eating tonight instead of dreading it, so thank you. Truly.
