12:30 on a Tuesday. Ordered an Italian. 13 minutes from receipt printing to sandwich in hand. I asked the customer in front of me if she had ever had the Mac and cheese and the cashier overheard me and said “don’t get it man”. Tables not cleaned and staff not friendly. The food was alright.

I had a very smooth visit at Firehouse Subs. Not a long wait at all. The Hook and Ladder Sub presentation was excellent and well put together! I love the fact that it wasn’t thrown together. The pickles are AMAZING Be sure to get one with your sandwich!!! If you like sweets, grab a cookie! I grabbed the confetti cookie due to all the brownies being gone and I demolished it

We ate there earlier this evening. Staff was stellar very accommodating love the smile on the young man. Our subs were delicious they use the best quality my pastrami was amazing great black pepper bark great bread gotta love the pickle! Let’s not forget the cookies..best sub shop in Orangeburg!

Pretty decent! I wish I could rate 3.5 stars as that would have been more accurate. The atmosphere felt top-notch and the workers were friendly and welcoming. Service may have been a little too slow though. It seems like for me they always put too much mayonnaise on the sandwiches. But otherwise the meat is pretty good.

I visited this location at 11:00 am on a Sunday. They opened at 10:30. The restaurant was dirty, tables were not wiped down, the soda machine had soda splashes all over it, and the tea canister was empty. It was obvious the premises had not been properly cleaned nor set up for the day. On top of that, the employees did not smile and were not helpful. I don’t blame the staff. They were young kids who probably didn’t know any better. I blame the management for not properly training the staff in customer service and restaurant prep.

My family and I have given this place several chances the past few months and each time is more disappointing than the last. Whether it was them forgetting sauce on our $15 subs, heating them when we requested cold, or this last time doing something to make all 3 subs disgustingly soggy and nearly inedible. Unfortunately this is nothing new for the town of Orangeburg. Every restaurant here is a disappointment. I just keep giving places the benefit of the doubt, now I’m done. Good luck finding decent food that was made competently. This town and it’s businesses are doomed. At least I’ll be saving money from now on!

I was waiting 15 minutes at the register before the cashier told me that a big order had just come in, and that they take priority, so I would need to wait 25 to 30 before I get my food, so if I want to I can still place an order. Well, who has that kind of time? As I left, I noticed that the drive-thru is moving fairly well. I got in that line and had my meals ( they forgot my pickles on all sandwiches) in 7 minutes. So if you’re in a hurry, take the drive-thru. Will I return? Probably not! A sandwich alone is $9-$10 for the medium size , which they say is 8 inches. It was 12:45 p.m. when I got there.

Decided to give this place another try. Wrong idea. So much for the rapid rescue order online service. It was slow last couple of times and even slower this time. Only ordered 2 Turkey subs and 2 Potato soups. Ordered was suppose to be ready at 12:05 pm. Walked in at 12:06 no order. Ask the gentleman behind the counter at 12:17 about the order and the order wasn’t even started. 12:30 walking out with my order that was suppose to be ready at 12:05. Looks like this place is settling in great with all the other local places around town.(except Chick-fil-A)..Gave a 3 star only because the food is usually pretty good. Rapid Rescue gets 1 star..

Took over 35 minutes for our sandwiches… workers did not seem to have a sense of urgency and there were MANY people behind me who I’m sure had to wait much longer. Honestly impressive how long it took… one of our sandwiches still had onions after specifically asking for no onions but we obviously couldn’t wait any longer for a redo. Very disappointing.
