Pleasantly surprised by how courteous the staff was. It’s refreshing when you visit two different locations and get the same service. The food was super tasty. I appreciate that the bread though toasted is soft and that there is plenty of toppings. Both my other half and I enjoyed our visit. Either this location or orange park, we’ll be back.

I love Firehouse Subs. We’ve never had an issue with anything…always wonderful food & great service. Today I ordered a side salad & unfortunately it was the most horrible salad I’ve had from an establishment. As you can see, the lettuce is slimy & brown, & looks like it may have even been frozen at some point. I hate to complain, but for 5 bucks you’d expect a little fresher & better quality. Our subs were good as usual though.

The italian sub was a letdown. When I order an “italian” sub I expect it to be savory and a bit salty from the meats. This was sweet. Not a little sweet but really really sweet. I could not taste the salami, pepperoni or prociutto, only sweet ham and dressing which must be loaded with sugar. Food was fresh and it was good portion, just had nothing to do with an Italian sub. I will try something else in the future and update accordingly.

The atmosphere was uninviting and the workers were busy chatting about personal things. My salad container was absolutely disgusting. The container had dried brown stains with black hair on it.

I’ve noticed that as soon as a sub shop becomes established, the meat portions decrease. Saw this at Larry’s on Blanding, and now here. Still delicious, but lacking meat. Service was excellent, and the staff seemed happy. This place needs a thorough cleaning, and paint. Kinda nasty coke, or sauce stains on the walls, and trash on the floor.
