I did a online pick up order. I noticed on the recipet the side of gravy was crossed out, with unreadable writing next to it.
I proceed to ask the lady behind the counter what it meant, she said “oh where out of gravy” I said well I paid extra for it, can I have a refund, and she looked kinda annoyed. It was only for 1$ but still its my money, im not paying for product im not receiving. (She never offered me a refund or even said anything when I grabbed the bag)
I wanted cranberry sauce on the side for my Thanksgiving sub, there wasnt a option online to do that, so when I arrived I also asked if I could have some on the side since I didnt ask for any on the sandwhich, which she charged me a 1$ for!
Well then the real problems starts when I started opening my sons food. I got him a 4in specially sandwhich, it only had a half peice of turkey & a half peice of ham. My create ur own sandwhcih had more meat on it.
Once I opened my sub, I noticed non of the topping i asked for were on the sandwhich, my bread was so soggy & wet too.
But I also got a bowl of the chicken & dumpling soup it tasted like burnt plastic, the loaded potatoes bowl of soup was watery & not good.
I paid 4.79 per bowl of soup & the size i got was a small cup. I could of gotton better quality soup, bigger portion for that price at panera bread or pot belly.
I surely wont be back here again or to any other locations, thanks firehouse sub for making me waste my hard earned money on ur poorly disgusting food from this location.
What’s worse is you can just leave feedback here on Google for other people to see and you get some AI generated reply back that actually does not fix anything
Updated- Visited again on 1/8, and it was just as great, but now even more convenient because they have an app now. Just wish they had a location closer to me.

This was my first time going to Firehouse Subs in Fairlawn. I ordered a turkey sub; but when my order came out it was a hot sub. The manager told me that I needed to specify that I wanted a cold sub. I was unaware of this since this was my first time at this establishment. The manager then proceeded to tell me that is why the establishment is called – Firehouse Subs!
I don’t understand the correlation and what she was trying to say.
I asked for a new cold sub since I was unaware and the manager stated – you will have to pay for a new sub then. Customer service is definitely lacking at this establishment!
I will definitely be telling everyone about my experience and my interaction with this curt and unprofessional manager. The manager would not give me her name when I asked her also. She responded- “we did not do anything wrong and no I will not give you my name”. I wonder about these young workers today and how it is so different with not having quality, friendly and professional workers.
Firehouse Subs – please provide customer service training to your managers !
Thanks.
