I will never come back to this location ever again. First time ever trying firehouse subs & I wont ever come back again.

I did a online pick up order. I noticed on the recipet the side of gravy was crossed out, with unreadable writing next to it.

I proceed to ask the lady behind the counter what it meant, she said “oh where out of gravy” I said well I paid extra for it, can I have a refund, and she looked kinda annoyed. It was only for 1$ but still its my money, im not paying for product im not receiving. (She never offered me a refund or even said anything when I grabbed the bag)

I wanted cranberry sauce on the side for my Thanksgiving sub, there wasnt a option online to do that, so when I arrived I also asked if I could have some on the side since I didnt ask for any on the sandwhich, which she charged me a 1$ for!

Well then the real problems starts when I started opening my sons food. I got him a 4in specially sandwhich, it only had a half peice of turkey & a half peice of ham. My create ur own sandwhcih had more meat on it.

Once I opened my sub, I noticed non of the topping i asked for were on the sandwhich, my bread was so soggy & wet too.

But I also got a bowl of the chicken & dumpling soup it tasted like burnt plastic, the loaded potatoes bowl of soup was watery & not good.

I paid 4.79 per bowl of soup & the size i got was a small cup. I could of gotton better quality soup, bigger portion for that price at panera bread or pot belly.

I surely wont be back here again or to any other locations, thanks firehouse sub for making me waste my hard earned money on ur poorly disgusting food from this location.

Do not go here if you need 10 subs. Expect profuse complaining. They said “that’s a catering order.” Only one person was in the dining room when I arrived and none were seated when i left. The place was a ghost town. Go to a different sandwich shop if you want 10 sandwiches. These employees will act totally overwhelmed and give you an awful attitude. Also, they didn’t get my order right. I only got 7 sandwiches.

Firehouse subs are very good. The bread is always fresh as well as the sandwich. The restaurant is nice, clean. The soda machine is clean. It would be nice if they fixed the parking lot,

Firehouse subs always has amazing food. Particularly their meatball sub is my favorite choice. Definitely recommend and they support local fire departments.

Ordered a large number of subs for pickup and they didn’t even start the order when we arrived for our scheduled pick up. Then after waiting a long time for the subs to be ready, when we arrived home all the subs besides one were incorrect and all barely had any meat on them. Called the manager who was kind, apologized and said they had a newer staff but said I needed to talk to the owner for a resolution. Owner never called but told manager we needed to bring the food back up to be corrected. This was not possible as we were 20 mins away and had company over. I asked owner to call and he never did. Terrible customer service and the owner obviously doesn’t care about his customers. Disappointing to pay for food that isn’t correct and no one willing to fix this. The Canton location is great and always gets the order correct. They must have a much better owner.

I don’t know what’s really going on with this location, but Jersey Mike’s is open down the street, and it’s 10 times better in every single way. This Firehouse Subs has been here a long time. The drive-thru has been closed down for almost forever for some reason, and their parking lot is horrible. They’re putting no money into this building; they have no respect for their customers. I ordered a pickup order recently that included a drink, and I was yelled at, and it was very embarrassing. They claimed I did not purchase a drink, and I even showed them that I did. The food is all right, but the atmosphere has completely declined over the years, and the property itself is in horrible condition; it’s hardly cleaned or maintained. Just look at the parking lot, and that tells you everything you need to know. I even saw one of their employees vaping in the back—no respect.

What’s worse is you can just leave feedback here on Google for other people to see and you get some AI generated reply back that actually does not fix anything

This was my first time going. The staff was very friendly and the sub was delicious. I will definitely make a point to stop in again next time I’m in the area.

I really liked this place. First time being here and I was not disappointed. They allowed dine in, which is nice. Very spacious and easy to get in and out of. The staff was nice and the food was made decently fast. Plenty of different options for drinks and their sweet tea is pretty good as well. I got a medium sub and it was about the right size for lunch. I would definitely go back if I was in the area.

Updated- Visited again on 1/8, and it was just as great, but now even more convenient because they have an app now. Just wish they had a location closer to me.

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE received on
Sunday 9-21-25 at 2:30 pm.
This was my first time going to Firehouse Subs in Fairlawn. I ordered a turkey sub; but when my order came out it was a hot sub. The manager told me that I needed to specify that I wanted a cold sub. I was unaware of this since this was my first time at this establishment. The manager then proceeded to tell me that is why the establishment is called – Firehouse Subs!
I don’t understand the correlation and what she was trying to say.
I asked for a new cold sub since I was unaware and the manager stated – you will have to pay for a new sub then. Customer service is definitely lacking at this establishment!
I will definitely be telling everyone about my experience and my interaction with this curt and unprofessional manager. The manager would not give me her name when I asked her also. She responded- “we did not do anything wrong and no I will not give you my name”. I wonder about these young workers today and how it is so different with not having quality, friendly and professional workers.
Firehouse Subs – please provide customer service training to your managers !
Thanks.
