No idea what’s happened with this location. They abruptly changed their app availability, and then removed their chicken option online. Then the chicken wasn’t the same as all other firehouse locations – but rather chicken chunks coated in a weird flavoring. You can’t order online most days and they STILL don’t have the correct chicken or even have the option on their app! Used to be a frequent customer at this location but no longer.

We’ve ordered from Firehouse on Mid Rivers Mall Drive several times. Sandwiches were good and staff was fine.
Today, the food at This location was also good, however the staff is terrible – no personality or friendliness and the 3 workers are very s-l-o-w. Soda fountain was not working.
I just read through some of the other reviews on here. This location has some issues to fix.

Honestly the worst firehouse subs and I love their subs. This place is extremely slow. Not trying to be mean but the two back workers can’t speak well English. The manager is constantly trying to do something but gets side tracked doing something else. Always out of supplies. Seriously you offer cookies but then you never have any made. Words right out of her mouth she had no time to make any. Well you guys get there earlier before opening. There’s no excuse for that. Also to constantly be out of pickles. Or when you actually have pickles and it’s clearly on the ticket they never put any in your bag or in your box with your sandwich. Even the soda machine was out of absolutely every kind that they had except for one because again the manager had no time to change them. Very very disappointing.

Came in around 7:30pm and no one was in the store. There were two employees, one was sitting at a table watching videos on her phone and one was behind the counter with her phone in her back pocket playing music out loud. I ordered a sandwich and wanted some soup with it. She had a hard time hearing me order over the music her phone was playing. She said “I already put the soups away for the night”… they didn’t close for another 1.5hrs. I settled for chips.
I go to get my drink and there was no ice in the machine and about half of the drink options were out. The lady quickly made my sandwich and joined the other employee at the table. My food was lukewarm at best. As I’m eating, they continued to play videos out loud on their phones. They noticed that I needed ice but did nothing to help.
A couple came in as I was finishing up. The employee that had helped me kept watching her phone for a few minutes. She finally got up, switched her phone from the video she was watching to playing music again and slowly made her way behind the counter to take their order. They wanted soup as well, but no luck.
These employees were bothered by paying customers. I wouldn’t recommend giving them your business.

Ignores Door dash orders ..40 min wait on two sandwiches .I never leave bad reviews being a former business owne r but this was a absolute must !The worst part is I was introduced to the owner years ago at my business. I can’t report this situation to the owner because it was the owner that made sure I received my order last .I watched 20 people ahead of me leave .I hope he understands when they eliminate door dash because of people that are like him.I arrived 35 minutes late for my delivery with no receipt attached ,bag not sealed that had mayonnaise smeared all over it .I was embarrassed to drop it off .I will be punished for his unprofeshalism.

Worst Firehouse subs ever. Right as we walked in, we could tell they barely ever clean. No music on or anything. The workers have no type of uniform. Very unprofessional. Barely any chips displayed. Soda machine was out of almost everything. The sandwiches were nasty. The bread was stale and old. They tasted like they were submerged in a glass of water.

My son, his friends, and I decided to try a new place to eat today. We have heard about Firehouse Subs, but never have we eaten there before, so we decided to try this place out! It’s a quaint little sub shop. I enjoyed looking at the firehouse decor in and around the restaurant. We stood in line to order our subs and were waited on immediately. The menu items were easy to understand and simple, so we were able to decide right away what wanted without feeling confused at all! Some menu’s tend to be a bit overwhelming at times, leading to a lot of questions. This wasn’t the case here! Simple, direct, easy to read menu on the walI. I must say that we got served rather quickly. It didn’t take very long and we were all eating our sandwhiches. I was very full off a medium-sized sub sandwich, but the boys all got a large sandwich. They offer hot or cold sub sandwiches, chips, other sides, and dessert if you want. I would say this is a good place to stop if you are in a hurry. The food is good here and comparable in price and quailty, to other sub shops. They were completely out of meatballs, which is apparently one of their signature item sandwiches. My son’s friends wanted to try that one, but they chose other menu item. we got a steak and cheese sub instead. (It was more like chopped roast beef to me), but still, the flavor was good! This place is a quick “in and out place” to go with a fairly large amount of tables and a pleasant atmosphere. I did make a trip to the back area where the bathroom was, and there I found the real treasures on the walls!! Old antique pictures of fire departments of long ago! I mean old pictures. Very cool. I enjoyed looking at them all! I thought it added a bit nostalgia, and I loved all the pictures they had up on the walls back there. The restaurant itself was very clean, including the bathrooms. That has always been something I look for when I’m dining out because It makes me feel more comfortable eating the food when the restaurant is clean.

I have never been to Firehouse subs so I thought I would try it. Placed order online, conformation came back to me that order was received, payment was taken out. When I arrive to pick the order up they are Closed. I Called the number on the board and it went to voicemail, with the mailbox full, went thru the system generated to contact them and the system states this issue has been resolved. Received an email from Firehouse subs and in the email it stated that it could take 24-48 hours to get a refund. The charges on my account were pending for 48 hours then they got paid. And still no refund. If you could leave 0 stars that’s what I would leave. I would not recommend ordering online from this location when they are closed at 6pm on a Monday they leave their online order platform open for business.

Ordered online and received confirmation. Payment was taken out of my account. I showed up at 8pm and the lights were off and the door locked. Hours show open until 9pm. Tried calling and went to voicemail where the mailbox was full. No sign on the door saying closed for any reason. Of course last time I showed during the hours they showed open they were closed with a sign saying closed because of software issues. Still have not received a refund. I never have a problem at the O’fallon location. It’s unfortunate that the Bass Pro location represents the Firehouse Brand. It seems this location needs to close until Corporate steps in and gets new ownership or gets it staffed to not have these issues.

We visited here to grab a sub after a day of shopping! We were greeted when we walked in, then a short wait to order. The subs were excellent and a little different then your typical sub but in a great way! I loved the fun choices and tried one as written. It did not disappoint! I would visit again for sure when in the area! Great job!
