Is it just me? Or does everyone realize that Firehouse subs taste wayyyyyyy better than Subway? This location in particular makes the sub eating experience even better. I recently ordered subs from this location, and they came out fresh and really well-prepared. I wanted to compliment one of the young gentlemen working there; I didn’t catch his name, but he appeared to be a manager, supervisor, or shift leader.
It seemed like some of the other employees that day may be newer, not so / not as familiar with the menu and customer service, which made the ordering process kind of choppy and awkward. This young man saved the experience. He was very knowledgeable, confident in his role, accommodating to requests and clearly helped guide the others to keep things running on point.
I greatly appreciate seeing that level of work ethic and leadership, especially in younger employees. No matter what job you do in life, do it with pride and care. He deserves recognition—give that man a raise and a promotion !

2:30 pm I purchased a Hook and ladder combo and the Mac cheese was cold and not cooked. Unacceptable because i have short lunch and waisted my entire time getting refunded and was told I can’t get a refund on the mac & cheese. I will never return.

We went to get two subs and there subs are amazing however , the employee decided that they were going to pick up the sanitary bucket with gloves on and ring out the rag and wiped down the section then proceeds to fix my subs with the same gloves on . When they were asked was that sanitary the boss MR Barry stated that it was okay for them to do that and that this is not a mom and pop shop . They also stated that they would not do anything that they are not allowed to do . I understand that we can’t watch everything but we should never be able to see and employee slip up that way . The manager proceeded to say the laws have changed . I guess the law states we can consume chemicals . We spend a pretty penny we shouldn’t have to accept this from no one. We definitely got our money back !!!!!

This was the friendliest staff that we have encountered at a restaurant in a very long time. The customer service standards have definitely been lower in Florida the last few years. Usually, we are lucky if somebody acknowledges us or looks us in the eye. These employees were very friendly and attentive, and made the dining experience a positive one.
