Ordered via Uber Eats…order was missing chips on two combos and two drinks. One of the sandwiches didn’t have the right toppings and we were given the wrong cookies for all three combos. Bag was half open, poorly packaged. Questioned the Uber driver who blames the restaurant saying they asked if it was all there and was assured it was as they cannot open the bag. This a recurring problem with not just this restaurant, there has to be a way to do better. I did get a refund through Uber Eats and gave both restaurant and driver bad reviews, but that doesn’t fix the problem of having missing items and wrong items you were excepting for your meal!! Do better!!

I waited a year for them to bring back the Thanksgiving sub. Was excited to try and review it.

What I got was pretty pathetic. They gave me barely any turkey. No cranberry sauce. The stuffing was fine. But they really seemed like they made me a sandwich with leftover ingredients. What topped it off, for lack of better words, was a hair on my sandwich. Very disappointed as when I came the last time it was out, it was amazing. My wife usually likes this location but they are falling off. The customer service was not good as well.

Worst customer service I’ve ever had, hands down! Walked in to place my order and stood there for 10 mins looking, no greeting, just confused looks and screwed faces. I left out and placed a pick up order though Door Dash and went back in with same results. After about 25 mins of waiting, a young lady approached to ask if I need help, I stated I got a pick up order though Door Dash. The young lady walked away, they all congregated in back, 5 mins later my food was tossed in pick up section by register, no have a nice day, no here’s your order, just food tossed and that was it. Good sandwich but I will never go back to that location.

I have been to other firehouse locations, which were wonderful, this one is terrible. They do not have the cherry limeade which it says on the app that they do. The sandwich was made incorrectly. I paid for the Monterey Jack cheese extra and they put no cheese when I took the sandwich back to have it corrected. The three employees just looked at each other and said they did not have Monterey Jack cheese, then slapped A slice of cheddar on there and handed it back. Will not return.

If I could give zero stars, I would. A few weeks ago, I visited this location and my drink had a strange, dirt-like smell and taste that completely overpowered the Sprite. I didn’t drink it and let it go. Today, I returned and ordered a sandwich with a root beer, and the drink was even worse. It tasted so foul I poured it out immediately, and even the cup itself smelled like dirt.

I called the number on my receipt—after nine attempts, someone finally answered. I simply wanted to let them know that something is clearly wrong with the ice or soda system. Instead, the “manager” told me he drinks Dr Pepper all day and tastes nothing unusual, and claimed the root beer seemed fine to him. I explained that this is the second time it has happened and that something is clearly wrong, but my concerns were dismissed without any real acknowledgment. After a long silence, he casually asked if I was still on the line.

I was stunned by the complete lack of concern for customer health or product quality. This experience makes it clear that this restaurant does not prioritize the well-being of its patrons, and that is deeply disappointing.

Good sub but it took 40 mins to get my order. 5 people working and they seem to be moving at 25% of the pace of a good worker. Pay more, get better people that are motivated to work hard and fast. Better to have 2 really great employees here making excellent wages than 5 people moving like a snail. Nice manager however.

Fantastic!! The dude at the counter could not have been nicer, SO sweet and helpful. Sandwiches were great. (They were out of romaine for salads. It happens, shortages of stuff is a thing lately) All ingredients were fresh and tasty. Their pickles are the freakin bomb too. Our stuff came out quickly. And….any place with a hot sauce bar always gets extra points from me. This location is new and we hope it’s successful and stays, we’ll be back asap and often!!

Ordered 4 sandwiches. As I was watching them from the drive thru making the subs, I noticed they were squeezing out some liquid that came with the Saran Wrap and the meat , and toppings. That seemed gross. Then , even though I didn’t ask for the subs to be toasted , everything was lukewarm. They also forgot to include a side item for the kids meal . Lastly, I found parts of a roast beef on the back of my bread which grossed me out . Not sure if I will return as a customer .

Deeply disappointing experience at the Buford, GA Firehouse Subs.

After a long day traveling and supporting our child at a sporting event, my husband was genuinely looking forward to his meal.

After leaving the store and getting back on the road for a multi-hour drive home, he realized his sandwich was incorrect. He turned around and returned to the restaurant specifically to have the sandwich made correctly.

The employee was kind and acknowledged that she had misheard the order. She offered to either remake the sandwich or issue a refund but needed manager approval. However, the manager (Michael) refused both options. No remake. No refund. No resolution of any kind. Honestly, my husband just wanted what he ordered, nothing more. My husband left exhausted and disappointed, still with food he did not want and nor enjoy.

I later called the store on his behalf, as he is not someone who typically complains and the experience was really surprising and upsetting given that they wouldn’t even correct the sandwich. The manager, Michael, refused to provide his last name or even a last initial, claimed the order had been read back, then admitted he was not present during the transaction. He did not apologize and the conversation felt dismissive and defensive rather than focused on customer care. He also provided an incorrect URL when I told him I planned to submit a complaint.

If a simple, acknowledged mistake cannot be corrected at this location, customers should think carefully before relying on it, especially when time or travel is involved. We will not be returning and I would not recommend this location to others.

This experience was not about compensation, it was about refusing to correct an error. That refusal, combined with the lack of professionalism, has completely undermined our trust in this location.

After ordering and receiving our sandwiches, we discovered that they were not warm. We questioned this and was told, “Oh, yah, the toaster isn’t working. We have always enjoyed Firehouse subs, but these were very disappointing. If we were alerted when ordering, we might have excused this, but finding out when your mouth is ready for a nice warm sub, makes me go to another sandwich shop. This one is at 1595 Buford Hwy, Buford, GA, ordered 11/29/25 at 5:17 pm.
