Let me start by saying the food was very good — no complaints there at all. Everything we ordered tasted great.
However, there were some concerns regarding cleanliness and customer service that need attention. The dining room floor was extremely sticky and visibly dirty. It was pulling debris off customers’ shoes, which suggests it hasn’t been properly cleaned in some time. A thorough mopping with hot water and floor cleaner is well overdue. It raises concern about overall upkeep, as maintaining the floor is one of the more basic and visible tasks.
Additionally, when we approached the register, the employee was on her phone both before and after we were ready to order. We had to wait until she finished texting before she acknowledged us. That interaction left a poor impression.

The manager that works in this location is so nice and friendly. He always makes you feel welcomed when you come into his store and his staff is very friendly as well. My favorite sub is the meatball sub with no seasoning and that’s what I ordered and it was delicious. Their roast beef sandwiches are really good as well.

Wow, I just had the most incredible experience at Firehouse Subs today—everything was absolutely amazing! The food is hands-down some of the best I’ve ever had; my Hook & Ladder sub was piled high with perfectly steamed meats, melted cheese that stretched for days, fresh crisp veggies, and that perfect combo of mayo and mustard that made every bite explode with flavor. The staff were beyond fantastic—super friendly, quick, and genuinely caring, like they really wanted to make my day better. I left with the biggest smile on my face, already craving more. I’ll definitely be coming back every single day; this place is my new go-to spot! Highly recommend it to everyone!

Very friendly. I almost walked away seeing all the workers on their cell phones due to not having other customers. Then I saw the other reviews and went in. The workers put on gloves but didn’t wash their hands first which means if dirty fingers touched the gloves then cross contamination occurs. Plus if you’re not busy then there was plenty to clean. Sandwiches nothing special for the price. I will go to 23rd Street next time.

I never been to a firehouse sub as walking in. Everybody was friendly and kind. The owner himself gave me a hug and introduced me to the menu seriously the most kind manager of this facility if you’re looking for a good place to eat come to Lynnhaven.
