i could care less if your service is sloppy, i really don’t care if you say hello or thank you but this food was absolutely DISGUSTING! i ordered a beef brisket sandwich and i got a roast beef sandwich warmed with very little bbq sauce. it wasn’t $9 worth of meat it was more like $1 worth of meat with $9 worth of mayonnaise. it tasted like plastic and it was majority fat. i am really very disappointed and i feel like i’m going to throw up. in fact let me get to the bathroom quickly but before i finished let me just say that my mother and my son didn’t enjoy their orders either. oh…and the soda was flat and taste like a bad version of sprite….it was certainly not sprite. be aware of this location or maybe it’s all locations but this was HORRIBLE!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the Firehouse Subs on Hudson Bridge Road. On Wednesday January 7 2026 I found a smashed roach in the lid of my sub container from an order placed through the Firehouse Subs app for a French dip sub.
I immediately drove back to the store and spoke directly with the manager. His first response was to ask if I wanted my sub remade. After finding a roach in my food container I cannot understand why anyone would think I would want to eat anything else from that location.
Only after that did the manager begin asking whether the roach was dead or alive and whether it was inside or outside the container. None of that matters. A roach should never be anywhere near a customer’s food or food packaging.
I did receive a full refund but only after this interaction. The Firehouse Subs app indicated that HR would contact me regarding the issue and that never happened.
This experience is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the cleanliness standards and how serious health concerns are handled at this location. I expected much better and this has completely damaged my trust in this establishment.

We walk in and at first no one acknowledges us at all. Three females in the store…one cutting up meat and one other one finally says hello. Then instead of asking to take our order she walks to the back and starts talking to the third female worker. And we are just standing there looking around and finally decide to leave because of poor customer service. They should close this location down if they aren’t going to work and show good customer service.

Food was wonderful as always but this trip to Firehouse we initially thought about just eating in the store itself however that changed quickly due to the amount of smoke in the air inside the building. The smell was so strong you could taste it in the air as well as it made it extremely difficult to breath well enough to sit inside and enjoy our meal.
