My go-to when in the area. I like to visiting Firehouse Subs in Herndon, which was nothing short of great. It is located on the far side of Dulles Park shopping center, which really doesn’t do it any justice. I mean the food, the service and the people are friendly. I went there just as it was shit to rain; it was either McDonald’s or Firehouse Subs. I had seen it while driving in the area and thought I would give it a try. I ordered the limited-time only pork and slaw sandwich. What can I say if it’s BBQ restaurants or anything that makes pulled pork sandwiches in there to try it out. It didn’t take long, and it was at the right temp, too. The pictures are worth a thousand words. The pulled pork sandwich was packed with pork and major helpings of slaw. I think it took me five minutes to devour. The taste was so inviting that I’ve bite was not enough. Even the pickle was crisp and delicious. You know a sandwich is good when you can’t put it down for a second to wash it down with a drink. I will definitely add this place to my growing list of food places that I will visit. My recommendation is to go to this restaurant, which, by the way, supports the brave men and women firefighters.

I often order the Ny Steamer, Turkey Bacon Ranch, Cajun Chicken, or Engineer and I’ve had the Firehouse brand Chili and Chocolate brownie. Pro-tip, ask for ALL of the cheeses, you won’t be disappointed.
The staff and associates are consistently fun, patient and delightful. More importantly my orders are correct every time.
Overall this location is clean and tidy, everything from countertops, drink dispenser, tables, windows and more.
I definitely recommend Firehouse Herndon for anyone looking for a yummy bite to eat on the go.

All the staff are very helpful and the food—especially a spicy cajun sub—is amazing. I think it’s very noble that they are helping fund firefighters, who save hundreds of lives and inspire countless.
