Okay let me just say this is a really good firehouse subs this place made me feel happy and the people here are wonderful and super kind. Definitely 100% worth going to.

The employees need to pay more attention to customers when order is being placed. Second visit and second failure. First visit , Ordered sandwich and asked and stressed to go light on the mayo, first visit I saw them put a lot of mayo like 1/4 cup but I corrected them before they proceeded with sandwich. Sandwich was fine, my wife loved it but had I not paid attention it would have been a mess. Second visit stressed to order taker to go easy on mayo, very little i told her. Was standing at counter but sandwich maker seemed to get a bit of an attitude with me so I sat down trusting that they would get it right. After all I don’t like my customers looking over my shoulder either. The sandwich was drowning in mayo, put the sandwich away to wait till we got home to scrape off the mayo, did so but there was so much it was all thru the sandwich, dripping and soggy. PLEASE LISTEN WHEN SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS ARE GIVEN. ITS NOT THAT HARD!
Communicate to your coworkers! This was a simple ask and sandwich was ruined. Your customers are your livelihood, treat them as such.
I dont know if i will go back, the sandwich i ordered for myself was ok. Will tell them no sauces at all if I decide to give another try.

My experience here has left me with a bad impression of not just this location but Firehouse Subs in general. I walk in, only person in the store. 4 teenagers standing on the line. Not a single person welcomes me in. I wait for my order to be taken and the girl slowly walks over with the most miserable look on her face and then just stares at me waiting for me to speak. Ended up waiting nearly 20 minutes from order to receiving my food despite being the only person in the store. By the end of my visit, 3/4 of the employees were in the back sitting down and just one was working on the line. Drink machine was gross and clearly isn’t being cleaned properly. The entire store isn’t for that matter. As for the food, it was just okay. Tasted fine but was falling apart and sloppy. If i’m paying damn near $20 for a sandwich I expect a lot better than this. I’m not even the type to write reviews but this was just that bad.

Me and my niece came on day last week and I had the best steak and cheese sub. My husband and I came today and had the worst sandwich ever steak and cheese and French dip barley room temperature. I will not be back to this Gunnbarrel location. When I asked if they toasted it because it was barley warm they acted like I was the problem. The sad part is the manager was standing there and just looked at me like I was the crazy person.

Came in for a lunch date with my husband because he has been talking about the Thanksgiving Sub! lol and while yes, it was good… great even, it was very skimmpy. Nothing like the pictures/videos, etc that brought us in.
Now, I have called the store twice with no answer (at non peak hours), because the lady taking our order was clearly new, and asking for help basically everytime we spoke. We were patient and honestly just happy to get to have lunch together during our busy days.
I had a medium turkey sandwich (not combo) as I had water with me. Husband had the thanksgiving meal and asked for the cranberry on the side and he did order the gravy for extra & a small drink.
I didn’t hear the total, think to look, nothing…. Until I saw my receipt an hour or so later to scan to make sure, I got my points (again, new employee). We were both charged with combos, and extra cranberry… in total thats $10ish that we were overcharged just because she didnt know how to ring things in correctly.
Not cool Firehouse. Not upset with her, but this cant happen to people. Really worries me now on how many times I dont look at my transactions.

I visited Firehouse Subs today and had a great experience thanks to Willie, who assisted me. He was extremely patient, attentive, and willing to help. While the rest of the staff completed their jobs as expected, Willie went above and beyond.
I ordered the steak and cheese and made some modifications, but my first sandwich didn’t turn out quite right. I explained the issue to Willie, and without hesitation, he remade it for me. His professionalism and customer-focused attitude turned the situation around and left me very pleased with my visit.
Because of Willie’s excellent service, I will continue to be a loyal customer of Firehouse Subs. Thank you for hiring staff who genuinely care about the customer experience.

Sandwich was a ladle shore of me and they made me a whole sandwich and went way out of their way to do a whole lot of extra. And all I needed was a few ounces, more meat. These people are fantastic. They are the best and I’m leaving with the very full belly.

Tables was dirty sub was nasty 2 sub meals for 26.00 is crazy work .We both HAD the ladder sub i didnt like MINES because the ham was sweet. It said something aBOUT va. I had the Firehouse steak & cheese. It was ok, pretty flat on flavor. This was the first time I’ve been to this establishment and I’ll give it one more go. I think I’ll go for hook & ladder next time.

This store use to be the BEST! It’s is in shambles! People are complaining that work there, the customers are waiting ridiculous amount of time, orders are wrong. The black guy that is the manager spoke rudely to one of his employees in front of us today and I walked out.
