Unfortunately I couldnt just give no stars so I gave one couldn’t because it was just that bad at the Grovetown Firehouse. To start off i walked in and no welcome to Firehouse. I walk up the cashier was nice so that’s the ONLY plus this place got. I placed my order. The people making the food was laughing and joking the entire time. I sat down and waited on my food. When they called me up there I said thank you and have a great rest of your day and they said NOTHING! I live almost 30 miles from there and when I got home my husband and I ate out subs and they were awful. I filled out the survey and someone contacted me back about my complaints and said they would be back in touch. I never heard anything back from them. I should have been offered a refund or something. This is the second time I had a bad time there. Never again will I go back.

I am extremely disappointed and disgusted by the experience I had today at your establishment around 11am on 4/22/25. While eating my meal, I discovered a hair embedded in the food. The employee who prepared it did not appear to be wearing a hair net, despite having very long hair. Though he had on a hat, it clearly did not provide adequate coverage.
When I brought it to his attention, his only response was to ask if I wanted him to remake it without the hair. At that point, the damage was already done. I had just missed the hair while biting around it—who knows what I unknowingly consumed before discovering it. It completely ruined my meal and my day.
To make matters worse, the manager, who was within earshot of the entire exchange, said absolutely nothing. There was no apology, no offer to address the situation—nothing.
This level of negligence is unacceptable. Basic food safety protocols, such as proper hair restraints, should never be optional. I expect a formal acknowledgment of this issue and assurance that proper hygiene standards will be enforced to prevent future incidents. Something needs to be done about this, I couldn’t eat the rest of the day without checking for hairs.

From the moment you enter the place, they greet you with a hearty hello. The sandwich was amazing hot and melted cheese. The quality for the price is great and you can’t go wrong with a free pickle. Maybe I’m biased but I love Pickles so that’s a cherry on top for me. Will definitely be back for more subs.

Not impressed. I usually really like the subs I get with this chain but a lot was off with this site. Staff came across as they wanted to be elsewhere, sub was sub pair and service took way to long for the small crowd that was there when I ordered.

Placed an order for delivery. Food arrived cold and soggy an hour after order was placed. Could not eat it. Corporate refused a refund stating the food was consumable after pictures were submitted. Pictures don’t accurately detail texture, taste, and feeling.
