Im tired of these companies jacking up prices and reducing the portions. A medium sub used to fill the box. Now its about half the size. My kids love the Cajun fries. No pickles in boxes. Order the medium and again its half the size. I’m done with firehouse. (Images of fries after 3 fries eaten. Image of sandwich after 1 bite).

Firehouse subs has long been my go-to for subs! I’ve been to many different locations and by far, this is my favorite one!

This location is quite a bit smaller than most, and several times there has been a long line out the door to place an order! But each time I have been there the staff always ensures that my order is fulfilled quickly and correctly! As a matter of fact, I can only think of one time that my order was incorrect upon pick up. Unfortunately, it was a to-go order, and the macaroni and cheese was forgotten. I should’ve checked before I left the restaurant… so I’ll accept the blame for that!

This location is always clean and The staff is courteous. Sometimes, if later in the evening, they have fewer selections of chips — but, they likely haven’t gotten a moment to restock!

If using this location, I would have to recommend that you get your order to go or take it and sit outside by the water fountain because there is very little seating on the weekends at lunchtime. There’s no way you’re gonna get a seat inside!

Phone ahead my order at 11:40a.m. I. I take a lunch break at 12. Got there at 12:05. By 12:20 . Nothing so I left . It doesn’t take over 40 minutes to make a sub. While I was there there they only made about 5 subs. Never again will that location ever get my money.

Ordered a sandwich, told it was $14, handed the guy a $50 bill. He proceeds to tell me “we don’t have enough cash for change.” How do you not have $36 for change at a multimillion company at dinner time? And the manager came up to check the register but did not say one word to me. She looked at the guy and said No!! then walked back to make more sandwiches. Not a single apology. Not a single explanation. Not a single concern from the manager or the cashier. Both were just rude and brushed me off like I wasn’t even standing here. Pretty ridiculous Firehouse. DO BETTER, BE BETTER!!! I’d give Zero stars and Zero recommendations to this location. Trashy people, dirty lobby, and rude employees. And all I wanted was a sandwich. Wow.

The new Fire House Subs in the Durbin Pavillion is really nice. This location is apparently the new prototype of what potentially all new Firehouse Subs will look like. This layout has a nice clean look, and there is no longer the long counter that is present in regular Firehouse Subs location. As soon as you walk in, you immediately see the ordering counter with a large menu above it. I definitely think this layout is an improvement over the current design (not that they current layout is bad). As is usual with Firehouse, the food and service is great. I personally prefer hot sandwiched and subs, so Firehouse is one of my favorite places to go when I want a sandwich. I highly recommend the New York Steamer or the Hook and Ladder. Don’t forget to try the Datil Pepper sauce too. If you have a chance and are in the area and are a fan of Fire House Subs, be sure to visit this new location!

Good food and friendly people. We dined in on a Friday night, not very busy and we got our food quickly. I had the hook and ladder salad with light Italian dressing, it was very good and I liked the flavors of it.

Locally grown and regionally loved, Firehouse always satisfies. Now with hot fries and hero sauce, you literally can’t go wrong. Highly recommend.

Absolutely terrible experience. While trying to leave a tip, I accidentally added an extra $10. The cashier, who was wonderful, tried to help by going to the manager. Instead of showing any understanding, the manager refused to even acknowledge me or apologize. His only response was, “Take it up with your bank.” No remorse, no sympathy, no respect.

I understand the refund could not be refunded, It’s not about the money—it’s about the way customers are treated.

A little bit smaller on the inside than I expected. But it is clean and the food is good. Fire house is my favorite place these days to get a hot sub. The cookies are good too! there’s just something about this particular store that I always forget that it’s there for some reason.
