I come here a lot for takeout, usually between 6 & 7pm. Food is good most of the time. Sometimes the brisket is not tender and sometimes it’s just right. Usually has way too much fat in it though. I love the drink machine because it has Mello Yello in different flavors.
I mainly want to communicate to the owners a word about customer and worker safety. Every time I go, there are boxes blocking the rear emergency exit. I have actually said something on 3 of those occasions and the workers just look at each other wondering very confused. I get it, they are very young but, this is Firehouse Subs, so you would think the emergency exit would be accessible in the event of a fire. Perhaps some training then surprise visits by management is needed. I’ve posted pictures from two of those visits. My posting this is nothing more than safety driven.

Greeted by a chorus of welcome to Firehouse Subs. The person who took my order was very friendly and helpful. I believe he is new to Firehouse because another employee reminded him in a respectful manner to clarify if I wanted the Smokin’ BBQ Triple Classic or the Carolina Gold version. I hadn’t noticed the difference even though the Carolina Gold says “NEW”.
They explained the difference and I chose the Smokin’ BBQ Triple Carolina Gold. Oh so good!
What I appreciated most was they didn’t just plug in the Combo. Instead they asked if I wanted it. Too many places automatically set your order for the Combo to increase profits.

I go to firehouse because it’s always better than subway and close to me. The sandwich isn’t always amazing or the best, but… last night I got my usual. The large steamer with a few alterations. It was the best sandwich I have had in years. I believe it was a young lady who made it. I didn’t catch her name. But thank you young lady, that sandwich get better with every bite. Absolutely amazing.

Great service, I usually get the same thing every time I visit. The smokehouse and a cup of chili. The chili on this visit was cold this time. It still tasted great, and I’m not the kind of person to send things back… I ate it anyways. Other then that, great visit.

Great subs. I have never been dissapointed eating here. Orders are always right and the food is really good. The employees are nice and welcoming. The sitting area is always really clean. I will be a returning customer.

I usually dont give reviews, but I manager is nice and thoughtful and amazing home town environment, and that and sandwiches are definitely better than the subway

Prices are absurd . Got the turkey stuffing w/ cranberry sauce and to no surprise nothing like marketing pics . A medium sandwich with $5 added for mac and cheese side and drink. That was $24 which should be against the law . Then cashier ask me if I want to round up my bill and make it even ????? Will never be back . Sandwich was bad and walked out hungry

I like this Restaurant not just for it’s great Subs but bec., it’s dedicated to helping Firefighters. It’s always clean & they have reasonably priced Sandwiches. My 4☆’s is bec., the female Manager with the Red hair has a terrible, uninviting, nasty look &, attitude. I order off of Waitr to avoid her. Everyone else is pleasant. I always get the Smokehouse Brisket Sub. It’s fabulous!

WOW! best sub i have ever eaten. very seldomly do you order fast food and have it look exactly like the picture on the menu. i am a truck driver and was parked at the pilot truck stop nearby. if i ever end up at this truck stop i will definately eat here again!
