Food was good. But was charged a food tax on top of sales tax and bill which I found out is illegal in tx. So will not be going back until they stop charging extra. And I will be reporting the tax to the comp controller.

I’m very disappointed with a recent experience. I found a blonde hair in my sandwich, and it definitely wasn’t mine—I’m a brunette. I attempted to call the restaurant twice to report the issue, but unfortunately, no one answered.
I’ve always loved Firehouse Subs, and I chose this particular location because it was on my way home. However, it’s too far for me to return in the evening, which makes this situation even more frustrating.

I normally don’t leave reviews when I get less than ideal service. I was disappointed on this visit because I haven’t been to a Firehouse Subs in over 10 years. Why? Because my order would come out incorrect and tasteless. I wanted to visit after new management took over and ordered the spicy cajun chicken sandwich. That is NOT what I received. Looks like I got a veggie sub with cajun mayo on it. There are mushrooms and sautéed onions on my sandwich. I don’t mind those things, but there is absolutely no chicken on the sandwich, which I was really hoping to try. I’m not sure if I will return or not. I have attached a photo of the sandwich and the receipt. Wish I could have tried the sandwich the way it’s supposed to be.

This place has done a full 180! It’s amazing to see it go from the careless old ways, to this new and improved sense of scenery with better management and well maintained crew. Plus the French fry idea is a game changer! It’s nice to have the hot sauce station also as someone who love little kick to my day.
