I went here earlier today and my sandwich was not toasted whatsoever. The same happened with my wife’s sandwich AND garlic bread. The toasted sandwich is part of the appeal of Firehouse Subs and it was completely neglected today. There are also no cut limes for the limeade. I am very disappointed with my experience today as I visit Firehouse Subs often. After today I am not sure if I will come back.

Is one of the few locations that still knows what the engine company sandwich is and makes it perfectly. Since firehouse took the engine company off the big board, a lot of locations don’t even know that the sandwich exists. And refuse to make it which is very disappointing since it is my favorite.

I ordered online for carry out and my food was ready at the time I chose. I ordered a salad and the container was packed full with plenty of toppings. The lettuce was evenly chopped with no giant pieces to deal with. Everything was fresh and there was plenty of dressing in the separate container. A great lunch!

My girlfriend got the meatball sub, I got the “brisket” hers was under $8, mine was almost $10. Half of whatever “meat” on my sandwich was actually fat. I ate half my sandwich and gave the rest to my dogs and ate the other half of hers. Great job on the meatball. I’m beyond disappointed with the brisket that cost 20% more
