I have trouble swallowing due to chronic illnesses. The bread was easy to swallow and I even had it toasted. The staff was amazing and so kind. They didn’t seem bothered when I asked to switch to a to-go order. Chad was so kind on the phone as well!

I usually love this place. Workers are very friendly and the food is good. I needed to leave a review for the sandwich I just received. There was plastic sandwich paper across the entire sandwich melted with the cheese. I just hope someone sees this and talks to the workers about quality control.

Ordered for the first time in years, which was a mistake. I ordered a Turkey Bacon Ranch and a Club on a Sub. The toaster was down so not only could they not toast the bread, they could not put the bacon on either sandwich. Mind you this is a company that “specializes” in TOASTED subs. They told me they would make the Turkey Bacon Ranch as is, just without the bacon. Fine. Nope. Instead I received a Hook and Ladder with ranch. No cheddar cheese, no onions. Just a mess. This place completely went downhill when the colored gal with the tattoos left. Such a shame. My wife and I used to really enjoy Firehouse. Will not be returning. Waste of money

On this visit to Firehouse Subs, I got the Italian Sub on Wheat combo with Mac and Cheese for my side dish. I also got a New York Steamer for my dad.
The New York Steamer earned my dad’s approval. About the only issue he had with it was the saltiness but that was a minor deal.
The pickle spears (complimentary with the sandwiches) were crisp and fresh. Just the right amount of tang and crunch.
Normally, I don’t have white cheddar for Mac and cheese but this was pretty tasty. The sauce isn’t too runny or too thick. For anyone who might want to add flavor to it, the restaurant provides several different types of hot sauce packets.
As for my Italian Sub, I found it to be well made. Granted, it got a little soggy on the bottom but that was probably from the dressing added. All the ingredients worked well together and everything was fresh. I personally don’t think this sandwich would need any other sauce on it; doing so would likely alter the flavors and make it messier.
The subs are kind of pricey but the quality is without question and there’s plenty of options to choose from.
One more thing: this location has an electronic drink dispenser. That allows customers dozens of options for beverages ranging from Orange Fanta to Cherry Limeade (the restaurant’s specialty) to even cream soda.
If you’re craving a sub sandwich,you can’t go wrong with Firehouse Subs.

I ordered 6 cookies, received 6 brownies. Order came with free chips, did not receive those. They only had wheat bread. This place is either falling apart or they simply do not care. Sad.

I have been here in the past but this last visit was my wife’s first time. She was not impressed and with good reason. The staff seemed more interested in flirting with one another than doing their job and as a result my wife’s sandwich was messed up and not what was ordered. My daughter had to ask for part of our order since no one was paying attention. All in all it is great sandwiches but when you hire kids you need to keep an adult on site to keep them on track.
On the upside I did get my boots mopped…or is that a bad thing?

My kids love this place. The sandwiches are good, the hot sauce bar is fun and the staff is always happy and friendly. The kids especially enjoy the freestyle soda machine so that they can try different flavored drinks.
