I placed a pickup order at Firehouse Subs on 6/23 and arrived just one minute before the scheduled pickup time. My food wasn’t at the pickup station, so I asked a staff member. He immediately recognized my order and let me know it had already been prepared—but unfortunately, it seems someone else had taken it by mistake.
Without hesitation, he kindly offered to remake my food and sincerely thanked me for my patience. I really appreciated how professional and thoughtful he was. Inside the bag, I even found a handwritten note that said, “Thank you for your patience,” which truly made my day.
Firehouse sandwiches are the best—the meat is always warm, flavorful, and high quality. And on top of that, I love that they support firefighters and donate to help protect our communities. It feels good to support a place that gives back.

I used to go to the location near Cumberland Mall/Akers Mill, but for 4 orders in a row, they got my order wrong, and 3 of these were because of missing items. The manager refused to make anything right, and the manager on duty was VERY rude and condescending! I went to his location to try them, and was very satisfied with the experience!

The sandwiches I got were fantastic, but I got it to-go and it took way too long. The cashier also talked fast and confused me a little bit and tried to get me to put lids on my drinks. I don’t use lids, because they’re plastic and bad for the environment. There was also a huge roach walking along the floor and no one noticed. It looked like it was dying too. When they called me for my order, I went up to the counter, but didn’t know where to get it from. There was no sign. Overall, I love their subs, but will never return to this location and am very upset from my experience there.

I think I’m done with firehouse subs. This was my 3rd trip to them and I just personally prefer Jersey Mike’s or Publix for Subs.
I love their soft Rolls and the meat is served warm, there’s just not enough of it. Only Subway is worse on my list of Sub Shops. Compared to Publix, Jersey Mike’s or even Jimmy John’s,, Firehouse is on the level of Subway, they are very skimpy with the amount meats on it’s “Subs”. Also it was like $12 for a tiny sub and small bag of chips.. ♂️
The staff is very friendly and the place super clean but I doubt that I’ll ever eat at a Firehouse again. Sorry. 3 Stars for the Staff and cleanliness, 1 Star for the sandwich.

Today everything was perfect. The sandwiches were perfect: neatly made, contents well distributed, bread perfectly toasted. The weekend manager is also so nice. The staff even walked over and handed my add-on sandwich to me! Just a lovely experience.

I am normally a huge fan of Firehouse Subs. I was excited to try their new French Dip, until I found a piece of hair mixed in with the meat and cheese. I will not be coming back to Firehouse Subs anytime soon, and will definitely not be visiting this specific location again.
