I don’t know how this place currently has 4.3 stars. You get European portions for big American city prices. Maybe they use super amazing meats, but the cost for food value is horrendous. Provided one star for it tasting adequately and another for the hot sauce bar. But seriously, go somewhere else if you’re even slightly hungry.

Visited Firehouse Subs right at opening to try the new fries, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. There was confusion between staff about the wait time, and communication regarding the new menu item was unclear. While my veggie sub was fresh, hot, and as delicious as always, I waited nearly an hour without any update or follow-up about the fries. Better coordination and clearer customer communication would really improve the overall experience.

Great Sandwich, Terrible Launch Execution
I arrived right at opening today, specifically because I saw the sign promoting the new addition to the menu: French Fries. I was looking forward to trying them and planned to dine in for a while.
The experience started a bit slowly; it took a minute to be greeted and place my order. Once I ordered my usual small veggie sub, I asked the cashier how long the wait would be for the fries, noting that I knew they had just opened. I was quoted 20 minutes, only to be immediately contradicted by the cook who said “No.” This immediately created confusion and poor communication.
I received my sandwich quickly and, as always, it was fresh, hot, and delicious. The quality of the sub is consistently high. I settled in to eat and waited for an update on the fries.
However, despite dining in for approximately an hour, I received absolutely no follow-up, no offer, and no update regarding the fries. After waiting that long without anyone checking in, I simply left.
I am highly disappointed in how this situation was handled. If a new menu item isn’t ready or requires an excessive wait time, the team needs to communicate that clearly, accurately, and consistently. The great taste of the sandwich couldn’t make up for the complete failure in customer service and execution of the new menu launch.

That was disappointing. Ordered 6 things. For the 3 sandwiches, they got the bread wrong on two of them, missed pickles on all 3, didn’t toast one, and missed onions on one. For the 2 salads, neither came with chopped pickles and the grilled chicken salad came with salami for some reason. The only think they got right was the bowl of chili.
